The magazine The Economist published an issue named “The World in 2015″. On the cover are odd images : A mushroom cloud, the Federal Reserve in a game called “Panic” and much more.
I wouldn’t normally dedicate an entire article analyzing the cover of a publication, but this isn’t any publication. It is The Economist and it is directly related to the world elite. It is partly owned by the Rothschild banking family of England and its editor-in-chief, John Micklethwait, attended several times to the Bilderberg Conference – the secretive meeting where the world’s most powerful figures from the world of politics, finance business and media discuss global policies. The outcome of those meetings is totally secret. It is therefore safe to say that the people at The Economist know things that most people don’t. For this reason, its “2015 prediction” cover is rather puzzling.
The bleak and sinister cover features political figures, fictional characters and pop culture icons that will surely make the news in 2015. However, most importantly, it also includes several drawings that are extremely symbolic and allude to important elements of the elite’s Agenda. Here’s the cover :

At first glance, we see political figures like Obama and Putin, references to the Rugby cup and the new Spider-Man movie. But a closer look reveals a plethora of disturbing elements. Here are some of them.
Two-Faced Globe
One side of the globe gazes stoically towards the West while the other side appears irate. Does this represent a confrontation between the East and the West? The cover features a few other symbols referring to the “rise of the East”. What’s more unsettling is that, immediately under that angry globe, are pictured a mushroom cloud (the kind that happens after a nuclear bomb goes off) and a spy satellite launching into space.
High tech surveillance and nuclear warfare. The Economist is not very optimistic.
The Color of the Faces
Take a closer look at the faces of the personalities featured on the cover. Some of them are in full color while others are in black and white. Why is that?
Among those in black in white are Putin, Merkel, Obama, Hilary Clinton and David Cameron. Among those in color are David Blaine, a young person holding a “Singapore” banner (Singapore is the host of the 2015 SEA games) and a random guy wearing virtual reality equipment. A quick compilation of this data reveals that those in black and white appear to be part of the elite (including the ISIS guy who probably works for them) and those in color are “outsiders”. Is this how the elite perceives the world?
Pied Piper
The presence of the Pied Piper on this 2015-themed cover is downright unsettling. The Pied Piper of Hamelin is a German legend about a man who used his magical flute to lure away the children of the city of Hamelin, never to be seen again.

This folkloric figure dating from the Middle-Ages is said to represent either massive death by plague or catastrophe, or a movement of massive immigration. It also perfectly represents today’s youth being “lured” and mystified by the “music” of mass media. Conveniently enough, there’s a small boy right under the Piper’s flute.
Clueless Boy
Right under the Pied Piper we see a young boy with dumbfounded look on his face. He is watching a game called “Panic”. The words “Federal Reserve” and “Chi” (which probably stands for China) are on top while the words “Green light!” and “sis!” (which probably stands for “Isis!” or “Crisis!”) are at the bottom. The little boy watches as this twisted game of Plinko unfolds the same way the clueless masses watch powerlessly while various events unfold on mass media. As the name of the game states, the ultimate goal is to cause Panic around the world as crises are almost randomly generated by those who control the game. And that’s on a magazine cover owned by the Rothschilds.
Crop-O-Dust
In front of Putin is a small aircraft on which is written Crop-O-Dust. This refers to the concept of crop dusting which is “the process of spraying crops with powdered insecticides or fungicides from an aircraft.” Right under the helicopter is a kid … eating something. Unsettling.
Sitting right under the crop-o-dust, this kid is eating a heavily processed package of noodles. Is he ingesting the poison that was spread by the aircraft?
China
A panda bear wearing a China-flag Speedo while flexing its muscles is a rather clear way of portraying the fact that China is gaining power. Next to it is a sumo wrestler holding a big battery on which the polarities (+ and -) are clearly indicated. Are they alluding to a switch in polarity in world power from the West to the East?
Ghost
Emerging from behind Obama’s leg is a ghost reading a magazine entitled “Holiday”. Why is this ghost, which represents a dead person, planning a vacation? Does it represent the fact that the masses will be so impoverished that the only time they’ll be on a holiday is when they’re dead? Does it relate to the countless people who died while traveling in the past months? Creepy.
Turtle
Standing in front of everything else, gazing right into our souls is a turtle with emphasis lines around its shell. What does it represent? Will turtles make a huge comeback in 2015? Probably not.
An angry tortoise is the symbol of the Fabian Society, an extremely powerful organization that has been working for over a century towards to formation of a single world government.
The motto of the Fabian Society is “When I strike, I strike hard”.
The philosophy behind Fabian socialism is basically the blueprint of what we call today the New World Order.
The Fabian Society is a very old group originating in England in 1884, with the purpose of forming a single, global socialist state. They get their name from the Roman general Fabius, who used carefully planned strategies to slowly wear down his enemies over a long period of time to obtain victory. “Fabian Socialism” uses incremental change over a long period of time to slowly transform a state as opposed to using violent revolution for change. It is essentially socialism by stealth. Their original emblem was a shield with a wolf in sheep’s clothing holding a flag with the letters F.S. Today the international symbol of the Fabian Society is a turtle, with the motto below: “When I strike, I strike hard.”

The Fabian Society used to openly advocate a scientifically planned society and supported eugenics by way of sterilization. Its original logo was a wolf in sheep’s clothing … But I guess that was not the best way to conceal the wolf from the masses.

Bringing forth a global system through small incremental changes is exactly what the world elite is currently doing. This is probably why there’s an angry tortoise on the cover of this Bilderberg-connected publication – standing in front of the chaos behind it.
11.3 and 11.5
The lower right side of the cover features some more cryptic symbols. There’s a pile of dirt on the ground and two arrows on which are inscribed 11.5 and 11.3. Are those dates to remember? Why are they next to a pile of dirt? If you look up these figures as coordinates, they point to somewhere in Nigeria. Displaying numbers that can only be truly understood by “those in the know” is one of the occult elite’s favorite hobbies.
Standing in front of the dirt is Alice in Wonderland looking upwards towards the Cheshire Cat.
This iconic cat is known for disappearing entirely, leaving only visible its creepy grin. We therefore see another allusion to a world of fantasy, illusion and deceit as perceived by Alice – a representative of the masses. Along with the somewhat unnecessary inclusion of David Blaine – a magician – the cover mixes real world events with illusions.
Other notable symbols on this cover include a piggy bank flying from James Cameron’s pockets; A model wearing an Alexander McQueen creation (the elite’s favorite designer who died in strange circumstances) and an Asian officer wearing a facemask to protect him from a deadly disease.
2015 seems great, doesn’t it?
In Conclusion
The Economist is not a random newspaper that publishes quirky 2015 predictions to sell a few additional copies. It is directly connected to those who shape global policies and who make sure that they are applied. The publication is partly owned by the Rothschild banking family of England and its editor regularly attends Bilderberg meetings. In other words, The Economist is connected to those who have the means and the power to make “predictions” a reality.
The 2015-themed cover basically reflects the overall Agenda of the elite and is peppered with cryptic symbols that appear to be included for “those in the know”. And the masses, like Alice watching the Cheshire Cat disappear, will focus on illusions while the wolf in sheep’s clothing will strike … and strike hard.
This article was so informative and mind opening. It seems like the world is continuing in its blissful ignorance while the elite controls what happens. We need to get educated!

I could not agree more. The only thing the late-breaking speculative spin of the Economist creates is a wasted space next to a potentially powerful expanse of space the rest of us inhabit. I think the "god force" or return of Christ (-consciousness "only"?) that's going to wipe them out is… well, it is for me recently in the past six months or so – is a kind of telepathy generated by selflessness that will allow us to perceive or see a true negative intent, be it a collective of inbred crooks working media, weapons and finance or just one shady individual. I have been having many uncanny telepathic experiences recently, since unplugging from media and detoxing (no animal food, etc). I have no explanation for it. Satan isn't God's employee. Satan is a rebel, who seeks to usurp God's place for himself. He was cast out of heaven along with the angels who chose to follow him. There is a war going on, a war between good and evil. God is allowing this all to play out, to expose the nature of Satan, to show everyone where evil will lead. By our actions we show which side of this war we're on. Make your allegiance with Jesus Christ, God's provision for salvation for our sins, and we will be on the winning team. Align yourself with Satan and the things he does and promotes, and you will find yourself barred from heaven where no evil or unclean thing can enter. In the end God will destroy all evil, so if it's your choice to stand with the losers, don't blame God if you end up destroyed along with them. Its hard to trust the words of the bible and organized religion. Look at the Vatican, or even the dark roots of how Christianity came about (Eric Dubay does a very informative post on The Atlantean Conspiracy) There's another site that points out the flaws in Jesus's teachings and suggests he may not be who he claimed to be. Although that site says very plausible things, I am unsure where I stand on it since it keeps going on about this Maestro Empanda (something like that) being the new true prophet and comparing him to Moses. That site is called The True Name or something along those lines.
Either way, the point I'm trying to make is that not everybody who believes in a higher power (God, Jesus, etc) wishes to subscribe to organized religion. Have you never read Brice Taylor's book? Church is where some of her abuse happened. Other people get molested by religious officials on the regular. And those ministers etc have the nerve to preach about how we should be better people.
I believe there is a being commonly known as God. I also believe if s/he/it is all that we think, then they should know what's in our hearts. We shouldn't have to sit in a church listening to a possible hypocrite or pedo or both. God should already know who we truly are inside and judge us on that.

Hey, listen: NOBODY is a good enough person to deserve eternity in heaven with God….BUT, He made a way for us, ALL of us! Jesus Christ said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man commeth unto the Father but by me." The Bible says we have all sinned and come short of the Glory of God. This is why- PRECISELY why- we can not earn our way into heaven. There is no amount of good that any of us can possibly do to earn our salvation. Because the salvation of God is a free gift; a gift which, like any true gift, must ONLY be accepted. God came to earth to show Himself to man, and He came as a baby, who grew to be a man, who laid down His life so that we could be saved. This is how much God loves you. His love for you is inconceivable, and He knows you personally. You do NOT have to go to church to be saved. You do NOT have to be a "good person" to be saved. You ONLY must accept the offer that has always been on the table. He has been waiting for you with His arms outstretched. Read the Bible and see how transformative His word is. If you are a skeptic, that is ok. You will find, if you look, that in reality, nothing from the Bible has EVER been disproved. Here's something I found extremely interesting when I first began reading my bible: God told us about germs thousands of years ago. He told Moses the law, and also many things related to health; like quarantining people with certain sicknesses, washing hands when you touch a dead animal or dead person, and even the importance of washing the hands after touching the clothes of a sick person. He said not to eat or drink blood, that people with certain kinds of skin infections should burn their clothes and shave their hair off- even the facial hair. God was warning us about this stuff WAY WAY WAY before our "great scientific minds" figured it out. If people would have simply read their bibles, then countless people would have been spared from terrible painful deaths. It was like probably less than 200 years ago that a doctor figured out that mothers giving birth would not die if people only remembered to wash their hands after touching a dead body, before coming to deliver the baby! Those people obviously didn't read the bible. There will always be people who passionately try to make people doubt God or lose their faith- and it's working pretty well; but, there are many others who want to share the real TRUTH with the world. You are right about the Vatican. Rev. calls it the mother of Harlots and Mystery Babylon. The Roman Catholic church is satanic and everything that came out of it is Satanic as well. Satan has done a good job with associating the word with all the evil and wickedness he has carried out on this earth. Those with the eyes to see and the ears to hear know this. The bible was never a religious book to begin with. It transcends religion. The rulers and authorities and such referenced in the above verse are not specifically the human and human institutions that we're used to dealing with, but the demonic forces behind them that influence and control them. It is knowing the truth of who we are and what the situation is, that will help us win this war. It is being righteous, so that you won't be counted as part of Satan's clan nor be swayed by his temptations. It is doing good deeds that bring peace and harmony instead of evil deeds that bring misery. It is having faith in God, that he will protect us and keep us safe EVEN IF WE ARE SLAIN! Faith also assures us we are God's children, so that the evil one's whisperings of "you're no good!", "you're a sinner and a hypocrite!" (etc) cannot get us down because we know whose we are and that He sees us just as clean and righteous as He sees his Son. It is using the Word of God to speak truth to those around us, to destroy the lies of the evil one and open the eyes of the deceived. And it is using prayer to strengthen the saints of God, to ask God for his protection and guidance, and to frustrate the plans of the enemy.
Your post above suggests you're still very much thinking in worldly terms, but know this: This world and EVERYTHING in it will be burned up. Nothing will remain. Then, once all evil has been purged, a new world will be made by God. So it's no use fighting for things of the world, because they are all destined to be destroyed. Trust in God, and look forward to a new Earth when the appointed time comes.
and you are basing this on what? i have a feeling this year will be better then last year. i think the world in itself is coming out of a depression that is slowly fading away. like someone else said this year is going to be a turning point, its already starting out right, gas prices are dropping and ebola is being kept under control.
A rudimentary study of symbology, as well as Manly P Hall's information (amongst others), will reveal how the Elite view many of the symbols, as well as how they use words and numbers one way while the masses/profane view them as something completely different. Whether you believe that or not is up to you…just remember, just because certain things MIGHT not be real (for instance, magic might NOT be real), there are those that DO BELIEVE it is real and go out of their way to make these things so. It's okay to be skeptical, but don't be so skeptical that your mind is closed to the possibility that VC and others could be correct.

Wrong. Dropping gas prices are a sign that something is amiss. Oh, and the ebola? That was another scare tactic concocted in a laboratory to make the masses go and beg the government for a vaccine. You are not seeing the big picture.
Although nobody is going to complain about paying less for gas. Still, I've been wondering what's up with that. But I hope the prices stay low.
The low prices are really easy to explain.
1. Fracking in the US really took off so we started having a lot more oil of our own.
2. Saudi Arabia is keeping the middle eastern oil prices low to undercut Russia (whose entire economy is based around exporting oil, and who supported the Syrian government when the Saudis supported the rebels) and the US (who they don't want to compete with).

I've been following Tolle's teachings for a longtime (3 or 4 years) and while I think he's spot on regarding our identification with thoughts and how that does bring confusion and distress, I recommend you to step back and re-read what he says: his speech is about no-action and conformity, about acceptance of events and stillness… Besides he never goes too deep in terms of spirituality and the true nature of our existence.
I'm not saying he's 100% part of the elite, I actually have no clue, but it would not surprise me. Also his appearances on TV with Oprah, etc…

I'm new to all this (only started looking into things properly 3-4 months ago but things such as 9/11, 7/7, Lee Rigby's murder, Boston marathon and more recently Charlie Hebdo make me question things). We are right to question things. Sadly most people just accept what they're told. More fool them.

Actually, the ghost is almost worthless without the knowledge of the two arrows. The 11.5 and 11.3 are signifying March 11th through May 11th. The word holiday comes from an old English word meaning Holy Day. What Holy Day falls between March and May? Passover. But it goes deeper. The Palm Tree on the island is in reference to Palm Sunday, the Sunday before Passover. The sun on the cover of this holiday brochure is actually a rocket, as seen from directly below as it takes off. If you look to the right of this sun you will see the tell-tale trail that is left when a rocket is launched, I've seen them many times, the trail of smoke is left behind long after the rocket is out of sight. At the top of this brochure you can see a mushroom cloud, and it appears to be going into Angela Merkel's leg.
In short, it goes like this: on Palm Sunday a (nuclear?) rocket will be launched at Germany (that's who Merkel represents). We'll see how accurate this interpretation is in just a couple of months. Palm Sunday falls on March 29th of 2015.
A few things that I noticed that were not mentioned in the article.
First, by Alice's feet, there is the earth wrapped in chains, which is pretty ominous.
Second, near David Cameron, there is a piggy bank flying. This brings to mind the common phrase, "when pigs fly." Does this mean that something will happen to the banking system that we once thought impossible? A world currency perhaps? I could be reaching.
Third, the painting is "La belle ferronnière" by Leonardo Da Vinci. It is sitting on a pile of dirt. It is in the Louvre in Paris. Perhaps this is hinting at the fall of Parisian culture, tradition, or influence. There is a lot going on with the radical Islamists in France. It may also be hinting at the fall of Western influence in general or perhaps the burying of the past for the sake of the future. It is hard to say.
Fourth, there is also a jeep behind a leg of Narendra Modi. It is clearly a left-hand driving vehicle. The woman driving is wearing a head covering and the license plate begins with A4. This is an area or province code for some country, but I cannot find which one. Maybe someone can figure it out. Pakistan, maybe?
Fifth, most of the world leaders seem to be wearing red, pink, or purple, excepting the Chinese and Indian leaders. Does this mean that they will be influenced by China (red flag)?
Sixth, Napoleon is featured. This painting is a famous portrait from Jacque-Louis David. It prominently features the hidden hand, which is talked about in another article on this site.
Seventh, the Chinese officer in the back is wearing a dust mask and is directing traffic in Harbin, China in the midst of extreme smog caused by Chinese industry. This is indicative of the horrible pollution in China which is killing their people. The increase in Chinese power comes at the cost of Chinese citizens.
Finally, there are two disembodied hands on the left and the right. The left one is giving the victory sign (as opposed to peace) since it is near Winston Churchill. The right one has an open hand (possibly belonging to Hilary Clinton). With its proximity to Napoleon, perhaps it is the revealing of the hidden hand.
Funny, when you wrote about the Louvre in Paris, I thought the next sentence proceeding it was about the current attack being a false flag when I saw the word "fall".

I found this painting's inclusion in their image interesting when I first saw it, as I noted that it was sitting on a pile of dirt. But I knew nothing about it, nor what it was even called, until reading your post.
After reading your post, and doing a little digging, I found something Very Interesting.
Around 1920, a forgery was made of "La belle ferronnière". Which was then offered to the Kansas City Art Institute. This forgery was then found out, and was settled in court for $60,000, which was a huge sum of money back then.
But, why is that interesting? Because in the movie "2012" (which also had a TON of symbolism in it) there was another Leonardo Da Vinci painting, the Mona Lisa (which is also at the Louvre) was replaced by a forged painting, so that the real Mona Lisa could be taken to a secret location. In the movie, the forgery was also known, but the lie about where they were taking the painting was also found out, and a great price was paid to keep it from the public.
My thoughts is that this Da Vinci Painting in the cover image is a reference to this same idea that was in 2012. But the pile of dirt its sitting on is showing that items deemed "irreplaceable" are being taken to an underground location.

Its being built to attempt to break the Land Speed Record, and attempt to achieve 1000mph. Its scheduled to be tested in Hakskeen Pan in Northern Cape, South Africa in 2015. But I think it has been included in this image, due to its name.
**Just to the right of the "bloodhound" jet car is the Two arrows which have been mentioned. The heads of these two arrows are buried in the… "floor" of this image. The floor which when zoomed in, seems to be made of granite. The tails are the only thing we see, which the number "11.5" & "11.3". My first thought on these numbers were earthquake magnitudes, which would be Massive.
Just a few of my thoughts as I continue to look into the symbolism of their "cover" image.
Also note, the queen driving the SUV (as others have mentioned) is so small you wouldn't even know who it is without zooming in on the high quality image, and finding the original photo in a news article.

I can't see it catching on. Although sn article I read says Canadians are the furthest behind in Western Civilization from jumping onboard with new banking alternatives. Few of us "tap n go", for example. And they actually forced us to do the chip thing because many of us preferred to swipe when paying debit.

Interestingly I have been withdrawing small sums of cash and keeping it at home. I've been paying cash for most things (food, fuel, clothes etc) for some time now. I've also ditched the few loyalty cards I had. I really dislike that people know what I'm spending my money on. Feel so much freer now. My husband poked fun at me initially but now he pays as much in cash as possible too. When I'm feeling braver I'm going to close one of my savings accounts and keep the cash at home. I need a safe first though! The interest rates are pretty dire and I dislike that the banks tell me how much I can and can't draw out and when. Be free people! Note to self: tell husband where I'm stashing the cash, just in case

I'm kinda the same way. Whenever money goes into my account, I take it all out. I don't trust or like banks, plus I like knowing how much I actually have. Most people I know pay debit, which screws them over sometimes in various ways. Computer glitches, not knowing how much they have, power outages.

I'm not the most knowledgeable about witch language, but a few months ago I read a few articles online saying how most music is written with it to cast spells upon the unsuspecting public. They'd either have witches write the songs, help with the songs or music, or they'd do weird rituals prior to recording or all of the above. Some were witches themselves. Stevie Nicks, for one. The chick from Jefferson Airplane is clearly holding a broom on an album cover (possibly to poke fun at a stereotype)

Agreed. I am a graphic designer myself. For a magazine of this magnitude, the designer WOULD have finessed the cover more-they owe it to themselves and their profession. It is more than evident that the designer was told exactly what needed to be on the cover and exactly what images to use to make this deliberately symbolic. This is an example of "forced" design, the designer had no choice!

It's "10 Unsolved Mysteries of the Internet" by alltime10's and on this video there is a man ranked at no.6, his name is John Titor and at 1:16 his description reads: "A man claiming to be from the future posted on message boards & gained thousands of followers. He predicted nuclear war in 2015 & his last post was in 2001."

How ironic that you mention this because I happened upon the John titor story just yesterday and was instantly fascinated. I read every message board thread that he participated in, and let me tell you, its hard to not believe him! Very informative, and in a way frightening, but nonetheless captivating. Yes, he did predict nuclear war that is very brief, but with lasting and damaging effects on the entire world. I have a few things that i need to add:
The Ghost holding the "Holiday" magazine peeking out of Obama's legs could mean that he is behind of Malaysia's unfortunate flight tragedy, where 1 plane went missing, 1 plane crashed into the sea and 1 plane got shot down in 2014 (3 planes in one year!). The poor passengers probably thought they are going on a holiday but they disappeared instead, how can planes vanishes just like that?? This is a question only the elite knows, probably. The 11.5 and 11.3 are placed over the top of arrows, golden arrows. In the 60's Golden Arrows was a code name that the Airforce and the relevant contractors used for their prototype ICBM's. The projects were deemed to expensive to be brought into production and were shelved. I'd be willing to wager that a sliver of that research made it to the production stages. We might be getting the business end of some modern Golden Arrows.

It is interesting that the beanie hat has a history of being associated with the atomic bomb and even a cereal called, Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs. With the mushroom cloud in the picture, crop duster featured above the Chinese boy and the pied piper, is it really a coincidence that the child has this hat on? It's almost suggestive that China gets bombed, but maybe us. Notice Hillary her eyes are featured blue (even though she is in black and white) and she is looking at the Pied Piper. Her hand is above Putin’s head. Not only is the Piper’s flute directly over Putin’s hand, but Putin’s finger is pointing towards the American boy with a beanie on. Did you notice that there are two people that are from history: Winston Churchill and Napoleon. Winston is in black and white and Napoleon is in color. Winston Churchill is holding up his famous “V” sign and right above that is the US ‘rocket’ with a mushroom cloud. That is a victory sign.
Napoleon was French. There is a picture sitting in dirt in the lower corner that one of your readers identified that is located in Paris. Napoleon did not win, the British did. His reign ended April 11, 1814. Is it possible that the arrows are about the missing date 11.4 or April 11th? So maybe something will take place in Italy at that time?
Also, if you look at the bottom left corner of the drum set. Notice the 50th? 50 years ago there was a huge shift in the US and it was brought on by President Johnson. I thought about the clown fish which were an odd addition to the picture, but if you consider the clown fish and its habitat, I think it is likely to do with its dependency on the sea anemone it bonds with. Clown fish, their very survival, are dependent on the anemone like we are dependent to our social programs. So with this in mind, take a look at the plinko board. That is a Chinese boy, a large and unhappy looking panda bear with a china flag, and CHI that is covered. It is clearly a reference to China. You can either read the ‘Panic’ as the Federal Reserve or China panicking. However, notice the lines that are coming off of the red chip, the direction the chip is coming from is Federal Reserve and the direction it is going is to ‘green light’. The Federal Reserve is looking at an increase of jobs and better economy this year and thus going to give a 'green light' (according to NBC) to raising interest rates. Plus, notice the military looking China man with his hands up and face covered. It almost looks like surrender. What happens with the Federal Reserve if China were out of the way?
Churchill is very interesting and he believed that there would be a need for US and UK to impose their will on Russia, thus a WW3.
Oh, and the Alice and Wonderland feature. Here is the first chapter in which the Alice talks to the Cheshire Cat and it has to do with rather disturbing scene with a 'baby'. Then I know you mentioned the turtle, but I think you should read Alice in Wonderland. Chapter nine, The Mock Turtle, as to do with a really depressed Turtle who says he is no longer a turtle. However, if you actually open up the issue you will see that on page 59 (US edition) that the turtle linked by you to the Fabian Society is actually "Lonesome George" of the Charles Darwin Research Station on Galapagos Island. Lonesome George died in 2012 and he was sent to the American Museum of Natural History for preservation. In 2015 Lonesome George is returned to Ecuador with what The Economist must perceive as a new coat of wax (turtle?) on its shell causing a shine in the illustration.

Ok, this article is very funny. There is no "hidden" meaning on the cover, it is just cleverly designed to emphasize what may be impactful in the next year. The black and white faces represent political leaders while the colored faces are entertainment. The mushroom cloud represents how more and more nations are nuclear tech – and it probably is a good bet that Iran will be next, followed by Saudi Arabia and the other nations in the ME. The ghost on vacation may represent Obama, while the cat from Alice may represent the Chinese leader. Of course the Panda represents China and this cover definitely pushes home the idea that China may be becoming a superpower – something that a lot of people have wagered. The ordering of the figures, from Obama on the front to the those dealing with the ebola pandemic (white mask guy) and jihadists, is really about how much media coverage on each subject that the Economist predicts. Of course, Alice represents all of us as we try to make sense of this new world that is wonderland.

The coordinates that point towards Nigeria appear to be very close to the recent massacre that left over 2000 civilians dead a just few days ago. With the Nigerian Elections coming up next month, things are really heating up in the country right now and it could very well be the centre of much political and social unrest in the upcoming weeks / months. Always good to see the country's "leader" smiling away in the midst of all the commotion on the cover of The Economist.

Wow, how about the 50th turned upside-down to be a 20 with an F and the greek letter: The symbol μ (Greek: mu) is used to denote the arithmetic mean of an entire population. Also, note that the ISIS guy in the back is not actually holding the gun but seems to be the root of what looks like cough splatter and the Asian in the mask is holding up his hands. The ISIS guy in the back is in black and white and the other hooded guy is in color and is clearly Caucasian.

Behold the Diabolical Symbolism of the Economist Magazine's Cover "The World in 2015"!
PART 1:
The imagery is nothing short of an Elitist booby trap of ominous coded clues within in an apocalyptic puzzle, wrapped inside an inside joke of an end-of-times mystery. Yet all of it out in the open for all to view. It is not merely Brilliant, it is Masterful. A True Geo-Political metaphor for the Wonderland that is our World. It is enough to make you want to twirl your mustache.
Being what we can only assume is a cryptic coded "letter" from The Western Elites of things to come in 2015 via a heavy-handed homage to the Beatles' album cover for Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club. The images are loaded, purposeful, conveying what seems to be a number of messages by the owners/editors of the Economist magazine (it's worth noting the Rothschild dynasty has a controlling stake in the publication). Nothing seems to be accidental here.
If there is one word that can describe this Economist Cover, it is Chaos. When one looks at it the message is that of Instability, Terror and Fear. Although, the actual contents of the magazine where most of the images from the cover collage are compiled from do not seem to be relevant to the messages the cover tries to convey much like a book that is misrepresented by its cover. Only in this case, one is strongly inclined to believe the cover is the real message.
Below, I offer my analysis of the symbolism of the imagery and my speculations as to its implied meanings.
– The first thing one notices is that the Main Actors in the collage are in Black and White and the rest are in Color (one of many references to the Beatles album Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band). Obama, Putin, Merkel and other World leaders are portrayed in B&W.
– What stands out immediately is Obama, centrally positioned (waving his hand at the viewers – Good-bye? – and wearing a Red Tie), and Putin on the Left end (also wearing a Red Tie). The Red Ties seam to Mark the two leaders as the Main Actors in this "story" and separate them from the rest of the crowd.
– Looking at the upper right hand corner of the cover, the drawing of a Two-Faced World suggests a CONFLICT between a deeply angered East and a righteous West.
– Below the Janusesque two-faced World, notice the Mushroom Cloud, a sure Warning of a NUCLEAR WAR Threat. This is not to be taken lightly.
– On the left side is the figure of a Pied Piper whose pipe is pointing at Putin's right hand. Is Putin about to PAY the Piper?
– Below, Putin's right hand is a drawing of a boy looking at a Board Game (Pachinko?) called PANIC that features mentions of the FEDERAL RESERVE, a hint of CHI(NA), a move called "Green Light" and another ending in "sis" (as in Crisis or Isis). The Game's "ball" is a FALLING RED COIN with a Pentacle Star much like the stars on the Chinese Flag. This Panic Board Game suggests Major Volatility and Instability in World Markets. Is the YUAN going to crash? An Asian Crisis Looms?
– Standing in front and to the right of the game is a Super Pumped Muscled Panda Bear in Chinese flag speedos. It clearly represents a powerful China that is displaying prowess with the intend of protecting its interests.
– Also in front of the Panic Game (Pachinko?) is a drawing of the EARTH TILTED out of Balance as if it were a football ready to be kicked.
– Next to the Panda is a diminutive SUMO Wrestler holding onto an oversized Battery that seems like it might crush him. Japan barely coping with its Energy needs?
– Lower left hand corner, a British flag guitar collides with an American flag drum set which spells "50th". 1965? Fifty years ago the Vietnam War began. Also the year was marked by numerous Race Riots. Perhaps another event in 1965 has a more significant meaning here?
– IS PUTIN DEAD? OR MARKED FOR DEATH BY CLINTON? Behind Putin, Hilary Clinton raises her hand over his head! (It may look like this is Napoleon's hand, who is also behind Putin and next to Hilary, but this is actually Clinton's hand, raised up high. There is more to say hear about the portrait of Napoleon by Jacques-Louis David, which is famous for, you guessed it, the French Emperor posing with his HAND HIDDEN out of view!) Symbolically and historically in many cultures, a raised hand over someone's head is associated with Death. A few observations.
In the high resolution image which has been posted among the comments there are a few more enlightening and perhaps clues given to decipher a meaning within this sick and twisted game in which we find ourselves.
The hand flashing the victory sign appears to have a morbid gaping hole. Do you have a theory as to the meaning of this un natural hand?
There appears to the head of an eagle with beak open behind the drumset. The reflection of the piper's shoe?
However, every relection in this montage is an image that has been purposely placed. The natural light and reflection of light has no place in this montage. Is this an eagle in distress or a purposeful agressive pose?
The most distressing is what appears to be an explosion with Crescent moon of an arabian flag on the underside of the asian boy's hat standing behind the singapore flag. On brim's underside there are letters which appear to be CMU. Is this a reference to Carnegie Mellon University? Quite a few asians study there consistent with the age of the cap wearer. Also, there was a prediction by Guccifer in December that a nuke would be set off in a Pennsylvania city in 2015.
The people responsible for this montage must be outed. While they may claim the images are only their personal predictions, the fact that this rag is owned and controlled by the Rothschild's empire should be reason enough to implicate or threaten the editor who is responsible for this cover.
Good eagle eye bell boy, I hadn't noticed that. It is a reflection of the pipers shoe. It is an illusionary trick sort of like the popular drawing of a wrinkled old woman who turns into a beautiful young princess when you turn the picture upside down.
I see an eagles head like you do, or a dinosaur head. Whatever it is, it has something red in its mouth.
Maybe an American football? Maybe we will be saying goodbye to the NFL? It is in the same area and seems to have the same trajectory, though slightly more downward, as the bigger, more prominent "world football".

PART 2
– Will Hilary Clinton announce her Presidential Candidacy in 2015? She is clearly preoccupied with Putin.
– Behind Putin is David Blaine, the magician who really isn't all that relevant today. His presence here is purely as a symbol of illusion. Is World Politics a Game of Illusion?
– Also behind Putin and the Pied Piper is Mary Bara, CEO of GM. Will GM face the Pied Piper and go Bankrupt?
– Further back is a Masked SWAT Team Figure looking out thru binoculars, a suggestion of the threat of Terrorism.
– Also, further behind Putin is the image of Napoleon. This is a clear association between the characters of the two. Napoleon was a product of the French Revolution, which was organized by the new European Business Elites against the Aristocracy Order of Europe. In the end, Napoleon was betrayed by those who created him, the same Elites who destroyed the Order of the Aristocracy of Europe within the span of a century by creating constant strife and conflict. The Oligarchical Elites who have been ruling in the shadows of the Western Political Systems ever since the Fall of the old System of the Aristocracy have now been challenged by the leader of a New Order of emerging powers – Putin. This is forming up as the Major Conflict of our World today.
– Angela Merkel the German Chancellor stands between Putin and Obama. She seems to be in a tough spot. Trying to make up her mind? Pleading for a resolution to the Crisis? Her hands form what appears to be an illuminati symbol of the All Seeing Eye.
– Notice the drawing of the helicopter in front of Putin that spells Crop-O-Dust? Is that a Warning of a catastrophic Failure of Crops? Crop of Dust? Famine? (There is also an Asian child in front of Putin and behind the Panda and the PANIC Game and below the helicopter eating noodles!)
– Strangely enough, behind Merkel is a little known "political nobody" – the President of Nigeria, the richest oil State in Africa. Is this a hint of a Major Event to take place in Nigeria in 2015? As a major oil producer with a major terrorism problem that should not surprise anyone.
– Right behind Merkel and Obama is Ukrainian fashion model Snejana Onopka, wearing a crazy Alexander McQueen Winged Bird's Nest and Eggs Hat tipped over at a sharp angle suggesting the Eggs are FALLING OUT OF THE NEST! This clearly represents the treacherous Civil War situation in UKRAINE. Everything is about to TIP OVER.
– Immediately behind Obama are his faithful allies French President Hollande and the Italian Prime Minister.
– A drawing of a Ghost reading a Holiday magazine emerges between Obama and Merkel. Is this a hint that Obama will be retired permanently on vacation? A warning of a possible Assassination Attempt? Or is it merely a suggestion that the Good Times for America are finally over? Or that Obama will be so busy in 2015 that there will be no time for Vacation?
– At Obama's feet is a high speed race car (which looks very much like a nuclear Cruise Missile) marked with Oil Industry logos. The car has a FLAT TIRE. It also displays the British Flag. Is BRITAIN's Oil Industry going to be hit particularly hard?
– Also in front of Obama on the floor is the drawing of a TURTLE (long associated throughout history with Earth's Foundation and Stability and depicted as carrying the World on its back in various Cultures). The Turtle is pictured with cartoon Stress marks around it, suggesting the it is moved to Drastic Action. Is this a hint that the World will be SHAKEN to its Foundations?
– Next to Obama is the President of China. He's wearing a cool blue tie. A sign of Neutrality? Next to him is India's President (wearing the national colors of Ukraine?). To his right is Britain's PM David Cameron.

– Most amazingly, SPIDER-MAN is depicted in the front right of the cover captured in the process of a FREE-FALL. (There is no Spider-Man film set for release in 2015.) This is a reference to the S&P 500 Index (the broadest and most standard representation of the Stock Market) also known as SPDR (pronounced as Spider) and its representative ETF Index Funds (known as Spiders) such as this ETF fund traded under the symbol of $SPY. – Right above Spider-Man is a drawing of a Piggy Bank seemingly flying away from British PM David Cameron. Are UK Savings and Pension Plans to be hit with a Crisis?

The license plate clearly displays "A4". A quick Google search reveals the only references relevant here as: 1) HMS A4, an A-class submarine of the Royal Navy. 2) A4 is the designation for air force headquarters in the NATO continental staff system concerned with logistics in the United Kingdom – the A4 Air Logistics branch of the Joint Force Air Component Headquarters. 3) The A4 is a major road in England, portions of which are known as the Great West Road. (Will China and India go down the A4, the Great West Road?)
– Immediately below Spider-man is a drawing of ALICE (from Alice in Wonderland) looking at the Cheshire Cat, which is between Obama and the President of China Xi Jinping. In the Alice in Wonderland book this is a scene where Alice asks the Cheshire Cat which road she should take and the Cat asks her back which road does she want to take. So if Alice represents the People of the World (she stands in front of a little ball which seems like the planet Earth), this represents some momentous Decision for Civilization that would somehow involve China and the US. Which Road will Alice choose?
– Perhaps the symbolic significance of the TWO GOLDEN ARROWS at the feet of Alice are of the Utmost Importance. The First Arrow is marked with the number 11.5 and the Second Arrow is marked 11.3. Some have suggested these Arrows represent Two Separate Events and the Numbers are possible Codes for a) an IP address for the DOD or b) Event dates such as November 5th and November 3rd, or March 11th and May 11th (depending on how you read the dates) or c) GPS coordinates in Nigeria. However, these interpretations do not align stylistically with the subtlety of the Economist's Enigma. But, WHAT IF the numbers are a downward progression? The THIRD ARROW (Not Shown) would be MARKED 11.1 and it would MOST CERTAINLY HIT THE MARK – ALICE. What could the significance of the Number 111 be? The most obvious answers is 1+1+1=3. This being the THIRD ARROW as a representation of an Event in a Series of Events. As in World War 3 or WWIII. – The cacophony of hidden symbols and messages in the Economist's cover would not have been complete without the inclusion of a painting by Leonardo Da Vinci, the most well known artist widely associated in pop culture with the use of hidden symbology in art. (The Da Vinci Code anyone?) So, what is the significance of LEONARDO DA VINCI's painting "La Belle Ferronniere" (translated as "The Ironmonger's Daughter") placed in the lower right corner next to Alice? The painting seems to be resting on on the ground on top of a pile of what looks like either 1) yellow dirt or 2) gold dust. (The painting is currently in the collection of the Louvre Museum in Paris. This painting has a very interesting rumored history. Supposedly, the unknown woman whose portrait this is was the mistress of the king of France. Her husband was so stricken by jealousy and desire to avenge his honor that he infected himself with syphilis, gave it to his cheating wife, who in turn gave the disease to Francis I, her Royal lover.) What could be the message of the strange positioning of this portrait? If we associate the Ironmonger's Daughter with COMMODITIES, the message seems to be that commodities will go down in the Dirt, or hit bottom in 2015. (If the dirt pile is not dirt but Gold Dust, then that could also be interpreted that GOLD will be laid low on the floor, or hit bottom with the rest of the commodities in 2015.) On the other hand, if we associate "La Belle Ferronniere" with FRANCE (via the history of the painting and its current location), the message could be interpreted as some sort of impending ATTACK on that country by some party for a perceived betrayal. (Current events in the aftermath of the Paris attacks seem to support elements of this interpretation.)

– Behind David Cameron is the ghost of CHURCHILL, who is the figure closest to the Images of the Nuclear Mushroom Cloud and a Rocket Launched into the air. Churchill was a known proponent of Launching an All-Out Nuclear Attack on Soviet Russia immediately after the End of WWII, before the Russians had developed their own nuclear program. Luckily, cooler and wiser heads prevailed.

– Behind Obama and Xi Jinping is the image of a Virtual Man, wearing an Occulus Rift device. Virtual Reality. Not Reality. That is what seemed to be the implied message behind these political leaders.
– Two other country leaders also appear, the President of Chile (far right) and the President of Indonesia (on the left side), but they are in Color not in Black and White. Not important enough?
– On the left of the cover the image of a person holding up a sign that reads "SINGAPORE" is prominent. Is Singapore to be hit by Protests just like Hong Kong? Or is this a message that Singapore is a safe haven for the World Elites? Take your money to Singapore before the Crisis?
– Behind the Singapore sign is the image of a SAMURAI Warrior. Is this Warrior the one shooting the Golden Arrows toward Alice?
– Finally, the Pied Piper also seems to be leading on a school of CLOWN FISH. Who are the gullible Clowns Fish being lead on to their implied demise?
The Economist cover, strange and ominous as it is, will surely be interpreted for hidden messages by Symbology sleuths for some time in 2015 looking for that extra special meaning nobody else saw. Here's hoping they see it.

(It is believed that Leonardo Di Vinci is the original artist).
