Kanye West and Travis Scott have a lot in common. In 2012, Kanye acted as an early mentor to Scott and introduced him to the industry while he was still a teenager. Around the same time, Kanye formalized his relationship with Kim Kardashian and entered this coven of witches (sorry, I meant “family”). A few years later, Scott also got into a serious relationship with Kylie Jenner, a member of the Kardashian clan. And, like Kanye, he’s had multiple children with her.

Like those of most men who came close to the Kardashians, the careers and personal lives of Kanye and Scott took a dark and bizarre turn while under their spell.
An entire book could be written about Kanye’s case, but the main turning point was his forced 2016 hospitalization from which he emerged a very different person. In my multiple articles about this event, I explained how everything about it pointed to MKULTRA-style reprogramming – a fact that was acknowledged by industry insiders and Kanye himself.
In 2021, Travis Scott’s career also took an extremely dark turn when his Astroworld festival – which already had dark and ritualistic undertones – ended with the death of over 10 people. Strange fact: The festival took place on Kris Jenner’s 66th birthday.
In other words, both artists went deep into the industry’s dark side. And, despite being among the biggest artists in the world, they both became industry pariahs as their names were associated with death and controversy.
In late 2022, Kanye’s divorce from Kim Kardashian was finalized, and, around the exact same time, Scott’s relationship with Jenner officially ended. The weirdness did not end, however. Kanye’s new relationship with Bianca Censori turned into a media circus centered around her sexual humiliation and degradation.
After a couple of years of bizarre public appearances, Censori appears to have “paid her dues” and was allowed to become an artist. Last year, Censori presented BIO POP, an art show featuring a hefty dose of occult elite symbolism.

For her second major project, Censori was tasked with directing the video for Kanye and Travis Scott’s Father. With a similar, somewhat off-putting style, Censori crafted a heavily symbolic short film.
Here’s a look at it.
Oppressive Father

Given that many things happen simultaneously in this video, the best way to experience it is to focus on a specific character each time you watch. Through these mini-scenarios, the video communicates the true nature of the church and its attendees.
The video begins with the priest entering and starting Mass. Then, things get immediately weird.

On a basic level, the presence of a horse inside a church is rather disrespectful to this sacred, spiritual place. As we’ll see, nearly nobody in this church is actually there to pray. On a symbolic level, the knight is one of the many figures of power and authority who enter the church.
Some see this scene as a representation of the Black Horse of the Apocalypse, especially given the video’s religious setting. In Revelation, the black horse represents famine and economic collapse, and the horseman is depicted as an emaciated man carrying weighing scales, symbolizing food scarcity and rising prices. Also, of course, the Horsemen precede the coming of the Antichrist. That said, in the video, the knight does not carry scales, so the association with the Third Horseman of the Apocalypse is not unequivocal.
As soon as the knight leaves the frame (we later see him sitting on a pew), a modern type of cavalry enters: Police officers.

At this point, this church looks less like a place of worship and more like an oppressive system where those who do not comply get expelled. In this context, “Father” is less of a compassionate God and more of an authoritative figure in society.
Kanye, who’s been sitting motionless the entire time, eventually gets apprehended as well. But not by the police, but by NASA (or something).

As this is happening, we hear Kanye say:
Bye-bye to my old self (Old self)
Wake up to the new me (It’s a new me)
As stated above, Kanye underwent MKULTRA-style reprogramming that profoundly transformed him, even leading to rumors of him being cloned and replaced. The fact that “space agents” unmask Kanye while he sings about a “new me” might symbolize him being removed from the system (represented by the church) because he did not originally fit in.
Later in the video, Travis Scott does the opposite.

Contrary to Kanye, Travis apparently “complied” with the church system by removing his alien (outsider) mask. He was then “rewarded” with twins, which, according to his song TOPIA TWINS, is his “favorite fetish.”

The things that happen in this church are not particularly godly – it is mainly about industry control and weirdness. Kanye’s lyrics go in the same direction:
Know you wonder where the F he been (Where he been)
But I’m back to life like an Epi-Pen
And she still in the leopard skin
And I check me out, then check me in
In these few lines, Kanye compares himself to Jesus (back to life) and refers to Sex Kitten programming (“she still in the leopard skin”). Interestingly, the humiliation and degradation that Bianca Censori went through in the past years are staples of Sex Kitten programming.
As the stories of Kanye and Travis Scott play out, other characters also do symbolic things throughout the video.
The Other Characters

The man doesn’t seem to realize an important fact: He’s trying to impress a mannequin. After a while, the man makes a “the hell with you” gesture and leaves. Why is there a mannequin sitting in the church, and why doesn’t this man realize that she’s not a living person? The answer will become clearer at the end of the video.

Meanwhile, a kid in the attendance misbehaves and blows out one of the priest’s candles.

In the multiple screenshots above, you probably noticed that Michael Jackson is sitting there the entire time, staring at our souls.

Kanye has a long history of referring to Michael Jackson. And the reason might be extremely dark.
Michael Jackson died in 2009 of “acute Propofol intoxication,” which was administered by his personal physician Conrad Murray. On several occasions, Kanye affirmed that Jackson was killed because he spoke up against the industry some years prior.
Kanye might be obsessed with Michael Jackson’s death for very personal reasons: His mother, Donda West, died in 2007 after a botched surgery, where the doctor was also blamed. In 2022, Kanye literally stated that she had been “sacrificed.”
Finally, one character exposes the true nature of this church and those who attend it.

He might be the only one who’s there for the right reason: Jesus. The only others that remain are the mannequin, the weird tiny version of the Virgin Mary, and the choir that keeps moving robotically even if the mass is over and there’s no music. Is this a comment on churchgoers in general?
In Conclusion
In many ways, Father is very Kanye West. It appears to be Christian while constantly contradicting it, and it appears to criticize the industry even as both Kanye and Travis Scott are deep in it. Furthermore, the video blatantly tells us that we’re not truly looking at Kanye and Travis, but at masks to fit in … or fit out.
In other words, Father is a perfect representation of our times, in which confusion and deception lead people astray, while those who do not comply are escorted out by agents of the system.
