The tweet starts with the horrific term “birthing people” because these people are on a sick crusade to remove all words referring to womanhood from the public space. However, when she talks about Blacks and Puerto Ricans, she uses the word “mothers”. But then she goes back to “birthing people” when referring to “non-Hispanic White” people. Reminder: She’s in charge of “Health and Mental Hygiene”. There’s nothing healthy or mentally hygienic about this tweet.
While this last tweet was absurd, Demi Lovato remains a strong candidate for Dumbest Tweet of 2022.
Let’s reread Demi Lovato’s tweet slowly. “You can call me they, but I’m still daddy’s girl…”. Now, let’s rewind a bit. A few months ago, Demi Lovato announced to the world that she was gender-neutral and that her pronoun was “they”. That means that she’s, apparently, genderless. However, in the same tweet that refers to her genderless pronoun, she also claims that she’s “daddy’s girl”. GIRL. “Girl” is a gender. In other words, Demi doesn’t even understand the fake, artificial gender garbage she is pushing on young people.
