I started digging this dude with Kick Push, made me start skating again, but lost some feel for him when he was being pushed and sold all over mainstream, but apparently he is back, I would like to see an entire album of work on this though. He was part of that Rocafella/Kanye Occult team for awhile. NOT sure his current history if anyone would like to shed some light. Truth be told I have been listening to atrists like Shai Linee, ChristCentric and Evangel. Respectable Christian artists keeping it expository and didactic to the fullest. Check them out. As far as the Bible and God's words, I wish I was a Storied Theologan, but I am merely a Believer and Follower of Christ. I stay in the Word on a Daily basis. Being Christian is alot more then accpeting Jesus into your heart and doing good things and being a good person. That will not get you to Heaven. Sorry to shatter your misinterpreted Faith. If you claim to be a Christian, then you read the Bible and take it as fact, and that doesnt really hold room for other religions. Bible says Jesus is the only way to Heaven. I appreciate the feedback- and by no means am I condemning you, I just know how hard it is to stay obediant to Christ. I spent 32 years a non-believer, worshipping a God of my own-liking and doing what made me happy. It took me many years of partying and hardcore sinning to finally hit a point where the Lord softened my heart and showed me my way was flawed. I always thought I was a good person, because I never killed anyone or did anything against anyone, yadi yadi, and knew and partied with alot of people that clamied to be Christians and even went to church a few times. After truly giving my heart to Jesus, now do I understand that none of us will ever be good enough, and that is why He sent us Jesus to redeem us so that we could be worthy in His presence in judgement day. After I made my decision to give my life to the Lord, I had alot of Eldered Christians that prayed vigilantly and worked with me to develop my faith and are still doing that to this day. Did I stop hanging out at bars,YES and stop seeing alot of people that I used to hang out, Tons. I havent turned my back on them, but I have turned my back on the wicked ways of my past. I still keep in contact with them and even talk to them about the Gospel. Granted most of them think I am crazy or whatever. See, when we get saved, it is pretty much a supernatural experience, the Lord has shown HImself and seperated us from the bongdage of self. I am so thankful that He came and rescued me. He took away my thirst for alcohol. I am not saying it is bad to have a drink from time to time. Here is the question you have to ask yourself. If you believe in the Bible then you know that God is coming back to earth, How would you want him to recieve you. I want him to find me glorifying Him. Not high or drunk or surfing internet porn, etc. Thats all. I feel your struggle missing your past life, hanging, having good times, etc. I think its good to be there for those people in your past, your family and friends know you the best and they can see the miracle of you being Resserected from your old self. It may take time, but they need to see the power of Christ, dont be afraid to stand up for what the Bible says. To take it a step further and address your questioning of the Bible and its Authenticity or whatever. Before becoming Christian I thought it was a book of great tales to help us lead a "good" life, but now I believe every word as fact. Totaling 66 books, 39 Old Testament and 27 New Testament. Go look at Isaiah, written 500 years before New Testament, it is exactly 66 Chapters and the Chapters line up with the Old and New Testament. I know certain books were omitted, but that choosing to let a few books omitted as your reason for questioning the whole thing will surely leave you as a skeptic the test of your life. Being a Christian requires Faith. Faith in Jesus and Faith in God that on Judgement Day your Faith and Repentance in Him will be your Salvation because of His redeeming Mercy. Without it, consider the alternative. I have been fortunate man, my wife and I have been walking together on this Journey and I have stayed close to alot of really Good Christians that helped me stay the course. I would suggest finding someone for you to talk to when issues arise and things trouble you. Hearing you worries me that you may have made a decision, but are letting the ways of the world(devil) coax you back to your old ways. Cant have it both ways brother. Hope this reaches you with an open heart and open mind. IN our Lord's Son's Name I pray for you. Amen

thats very smart thinking to not trust anybody to much..but one thing i thought of is that in the music industry its not always that they are buddies because they are on the same song maybe lupes label just paid her to drop the chorus and its possible they dont really even know each other.. its possible to pay certain rappers to a couple or a few thousand dollars to drop a verse on your album without ever even meeting them…but then again like you said i dont trust people that fast either

Hi there I have recently became a fan of Lupe beacuse of this great article. I listen to his music it is truly inspirational postive and motivational. I sadly however saw some pics of him doing the all too familar one eye symbolism. I truly hope he is not part of all that because its hard to find good music these days.
Reading a lot of these comments really did make me sad, and a little disappointed. I've come to realize that the conversations aren't even relative to the articles anymore they are just religion wars, and a bunch of he says-she says mix. What I don't understand is how Christians are sooo bashed on here for believing in what they believe. Half of the time, if you really just read what they are trying to say, they aren't setting judgement, they are just speaking an opinion. But just because they say they are Christians they are immediately criticized for their views. It's almost as if people are contradicting themself when they call Christians the hypocrites..
I mean no matter what, things are still happening in the world that are either out of our control, or too far deep to stop. Lupe is just ONE person speaking what we THINK is the "truth" how do we know his intentions are even pure? how do we know that his "kill-illumaniti" campaign is just a way to get a leg up in his career? how do we even know the illumaniti is real? we don't! Saying Lupe is a genius, he's a master of words, he's so brilliant, saying all of this grand stuff is just boosting his self-esteem (hmmm sound familiar?). Regaurdless of what we may think of him, we don't know him, and it would take someone that actually does to tell us the real him! Any one can fake it on a screen, and fake their intentions. My point is, there are SO MANY meanings and interpratations to a song, that lyrics can easily get twisted into thinking that a song is a revolution, when in all actuality it MAY be just a new way to brain wash you. Either way, keep your eyes wide open, your mouth wide open, and your ears wide open because at the end of the day all we have to fall back on is our foundation (religion, up-bringing, etc.)…BUT when everything is said and done Lupe is a very talented artist, and props to him and all of his acheivements, however i just really hope for the sake of all of his fans his intentions are pure!

Listen to his first single, the one before this, "The Show Goes On", talks about the music industry, amazing song. For some reason, despite Christianity's teachings (turn the other cheek, thou shalt not kill, etc), it seems like Christians have historically been the easiest group of people to manipulate into hating other groups and committing genocides. The Crusades, the Conquest of the Americas, the Conquest of Africa, the Inquisition, the Holocaust, Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan….
Think about that last one! Even if you believe the official story, 3000 people were murdered by a small group of criminals, most Saudi and Yemeni, who broke several Islamic laws on 9/11. Within days, most Christians were so worked up, by really third-rate propoganda IMO, that they thought they were at war with Islam itself. To the point that they attacked Iraq, at huge expense, which had nothing to do with Al Qaeda and was basically an *enemy* of Saudi Arabia. How did that happen?
I personally think one of the strategies of the New World Order is to target specific groups for genocide as a way of keeping the population down. I think Muslims, and maybe Blacks, have already been marked as the first two groups to go. It's just easier for the elites if the "surviving groups" are too grateful and scared to defend their neighbors marked for death. If Whites, Jews, Asians, and Amerindian/Hispanics think they're safe, they'll keep their heads down and hope for survival. Of course, then it will be our turn. OK, put yourself in my shoes, and pretend that you think everyone is equal, religion is a tool to divide and conquer, and Muslims are being targeted. Then read the first line: "Are Muslims taking over the world, or at a minimum, transforming Europe into Eurabia?" WTF? Is that a question or a passive aggressive accusation?
And can you believe the international reaction to the situation in Egypt? Jesus, you could take a batch of descriptions of Mubarak and Saddam Hussein, then play, "Which dictator am I talking about?" You'd never score more than 50%, because you couldn't tell them apart. But the very same people who wanted to spread "democracy and freedom" to Iraq, at gunpoint, are like, "Oh, our apologies, we didn't mean actual democracy, with voting; we were thinking more like repression and dictatorship, maybe some shock and awe. Sorry if the Orwellian doublespeak confused you."

With this statement you actually have a point. See if you compare the original bible to the more recent ones, you'll find a lot of discrepancies. Why do you suppose there is so much "one eyed" symbolism everywhere in todays society? Another thought, Fiasco is slang for failure/diaster, it seems ironic he has that for a last name and raps about how we are, "cowards in the face of horrendous truths." Maybe it's actually the Illuminated's funny way of slapping us in the face.
Anyone who likes Lupe can continue to like him. Just be vigilant and guard yourself from influence, and if you get the feeling or notice there is something 'off' about him, simply stop listening to him. We all have to make decisions for ourselves…we are going to anyway.

You shouldn't put faith into an artist you can find on MTV or touring with homosexuals like Kanye West. What will be interesting is if he says a lyric that strikes the wrong nerve and forces a "clamp" to be put on his artistry. Right now he is no threat to their agenda.
I tend to gravitate towards artists that educate. Songs that compell you to research what exactly the artist is speaking of. If you aren't well aware of the things Lupe mentions in this song, then you really need to catch yourself up on what's going down on this planet.
For those of you that enjoy the art of lyricism, I have a few suggestions for REAL artists that you should check out (some of which you guys have already mentioned):
1. Beast1333 – This guy uses reverse symbolisms in his artwork and tattoo's, and his lyrics contain facts about conspiracies even I myself wasn't aware of. Metaphysics, masons, aliens, this guy covers it all. Just check out his opening verse on "Holographic Universe".
2. Canibus – Regarded as some to be the earliest rapper to touch on "conspiracy", Canibus is, in my opinion, the best lyricist to ever put a pen to paper. Check out his 98' song "Chanel Zero" and the other five billion songs this guy has written, and you'll be impressed. He started off as a crazy battle rapper, but know uses those skills to expand upon things like metaphysics…
3. Immortal Technique – Most of you already know this guy. For those who don't, he hit the scene with a track called "Bin Laden" back in the day, and has established himself as one of the illest underground "conscious rappers". He also does work with the youth, and even contributed a good portion of his earnings from "The Third World" album to help build a shelter/school for children in Afghanistan. That's some cool shit….
Other rappers you should check out: Son of Saturn, William Cooper, Ill Bill, Diabolic (Truth Pt. 2), Conspiracy of Mind…just to name a few off the top of my head.

After the tribulation probably the population might be at the magic number of 500 million. I could be wrong.
We must start to look for God and the creator inside of ourselves.
Back to the religions right quick. Why does the pope have leaders all around the world kissing the ring? Don't you find that funny. Be it Muslim, Jew or Christian. There is far more going on in this world then we can comprehend apart. However we can do it together.

If the corporate banks of today had followed the guidelines of Allah, we wouldn't have been in this mess and millions of Americans and people worldwide would be in a better financial position.

A lot of people mention religion in the comments here. I am an atheist and I support the truth movement, we need to expose this BS. The problem is, so many of us are fractured because we don't trust each other. Gay,Straight,Black,White,Christian,Jewish,Muslim, etc.. In the end, everyones true colors will show no matter who they are. Just stand with the people who are with you and oppose the ones who aren't.

I'm a big fan of Lupe's work, and have been for a while. However, I was slightly taken back by the cover art for this single because if you look at the first E in never (also just had an epiphany but I'll finish regardless) it's that same symbol Jay-Z used on blueprint 3, and VC noted in one of his articles that it's actually occult symbolism.
Epiphany: In at least one of Lupe's other songs a line or two of his lyrics hint that he'll never be a part of the illuminati (I'm Beaming: It's never cyclops/It's never I alone – Then at this point in the video it shows a little kid raising a single eye in front of Lupe's face right as he says "never I alone"). Anyway, the point I was trying to make here is I guess by putting that "3" symbol in "Never" he's once again denouncing all the bs illuminati symbolism. And I guess this post was rather pointless

About Christians being "superior" than others. That is not true. Whoever says that and claims themself as a Christian is obviously not too true of one. I have nothing against other religions personally. Why should I? Because they do not believe in what I believe in and I hope for their life they should return to Jesus Christ? I am Christian and was raised to be Christian but on the real the older that I get the most I don't claim religion I just claim to have a personal relationship with God. In this world and with enough time and technology all things can be twisted. Following God is more then religion but is actually a heart and spiritual choices which to me is deeper then religion. It not easy and it goes far beyond people and the human existence. One thing that I love about God is that he chances for no man or no concept that man can create. We all must come to him the same way which is giving up our own lives/ selfishness and flowing his will which mean there is not place or space to be corrupted, no one man will never be powerful above him in anyway. As I once heard it best live your life now on earth because in heaven there are no platforms for only but Jesus because he paid the price and died for our sins not the other way around.
If we argue about whose religion or spiritual belief is superior then we are not only missing the point of this website, but wasting valuable time while things continue to go on in the world around us. What bothers me about Lupe is that it's difficult to know whether he really believes what he is rapping, or whether he's just trying to cash in on the "conspiracy theorists". If the latter is true, then it certainly explains why he hasn't yet died in a freak plane accident.
I love music but don't bye much music or look at TV because it is more about consumerism then it is about a love for art or personal individualism. I did like this song though and will look out for more of his music to really gain a personal opinion of him more. I feel like everything is taken from us and is twisted for the world personal gain and I try my best to guard my heart and mind. I do not want to be transformed into someone else as if I have no brain of my own. I don't want to be pushed into a certain direction as if I am a zombie with no choice. I've been in this conspiracy stuff for about 2 years now and I just keep getting more confused, simply because everytime I start to build in my mind a logic that seems right, correct or good, it gets crumbled because there's something, there's always something off, something that links my "correect" logic, with the counterside, the bad stuff.
Are these "conscious" rappers good, or connected to mayor record companies.
Are conspiracy theorists for real, or are they disinfo agents (like it has been proved already).
Is wikileaks a truth movement, or a political move.
Was Martin Luther King a hero, or a faker (yeah… the heck I knew, go investigate yourself, it might be true).
Is abovetopsecret truthful, or owned by masons.
Are freemasons evil, or were infiltrated.
Were the secret societies behind the development of America in first instance good, or were they evil all along.
Is VC good, why is it so famous, why might my post get erased (please don't, and understand my state of confusion).
Zeitgeist= disinfo.
Persons that history has labelled as good, might be charades.
Events that structure our sense of history, might not have happened at all how you thought.
All I hear is theories, theories and theories. It just leaves space to doubt, in almost everything, and now I really get that feeling that the whole world is just a charade, a freaking matrix, but the thing is, I can't wake up, because I don't know where or how to.

Dig into sacred music not being reinvented, check your library and feel how wonderful, how uplifting it is to listen to sacred scriptual music. When you go back to the OLD music, prior to the 1900's, you tap into something more powerful than the garbage music of today. If you study lyrics from some of the 'popular' Christian artists today, especially those selling Christian Rock, it's trash.
Go back further, listen to classical music too, turn off the TV and public radio and listen to the GOOD OLD music praising and worshipping GOD.
I'm Tired of seeing people point fingers at other religions. First off alot of people claim to be Christians yet they don't worship. same to all of the other religions of the world. You can't judge a religion based on what some people or even how most people act. Speak for yourself and no one else. If I am wrong tell me and prove to me I am wrong don't tell me my religion is wrong just because of a mistake I make. We are all human and we all make mistakes. Though that is not an excuse to make the same mistakes over and over again. I'm just an 18 year old guy who is from Church of Christ background. I don't know everything I am learning and adapting. But I know that you should do what you know is right at all times. That includes helping someone in need of guidance. We need each other to build on ourselves and to make one another stronger.I encourage someone to respond to what I am saying either so you can teach me something or I can possibly teach you something.

I'm shocked at some of the christian comments I see ! Don't get me wrong I'm a christian myself. I'd like to share my thoughts with you I live in Zimbabwe and been all over the world what I don't seem to understand is why some of us don't tolerate any other religion ?
My belief is there is one God ! Whether you're christian or muslim don't u realise u are praying to the same God ? I commend Lupe on speaking out about the truth. This song really hit home hard…. Yes, this Skylar Grey chick works with a lot of artists that are being controlled by the illuminati. She is becoming very popular with the public, and this may be the very reason that Lupe used her to sing the chorus. Let's be real, if he used a christian artist or someone unpopular, a lot of people would not even give this song a chance. That is how he is going to be able to spread the message of this song. I happen to like Lupe Fiasco, but when he started to go mainstream I thought dang Lupe they got u.. I hope that he is sincere about his lyrics!!! It's very disappointing when you hear them sing/rap/speak on issues & find out their intentions are totally opposite from their views. I stopped listening to the bulk of hip hop like a few years ago & cut out other genres from my musical preference recently. I am very very hesitant to listen to anything. Gosh its so true how stuff gets stuck in your brain without you even making a conscious effort to retain it… Much respect to the ones in the know, who aren't afraid to let the truth be known. In the end of it all, (if you believe in Jesus) we know who wins the ultimate battle!!!
