Katy Perry is a typical example of Christianity in America and she serves as a wakeup call to the church. She originally wanted to be a Christian singer but was not successful, therefore she turned against God and became, like Marilyn Manson, totally committed to destroy Christianity. Her new god is now giving her everything she thought she wanted but she won't like the end result. The church has adopted the Billy Graham false salvation process which tells us that we should come to God because we are not fulfilled and if we just say the magic J word, all of our problems will be gone and we will live happy and fulfilled lives. Others in the prosperity and dominion insanity expound on this nonsense and tell us that because we said the magic J word, all we have to do is believe and we then have the right to anything we ask for. These are lies from hell and so obvious if we open our eyes – the Son of God was crucified, all of the disciples were martyred or exiled, Paul was beaten repeatedly and executed, Old Testament prophets were sawed in two, stoned, etc. Jesus told us that we would suffer for the gospel and that we would be hated for bringing light into the lost world, yet the deceiving churches and false teachers tell people to just say that magic J word and buckle up for nothing but thrills and joys. When that nonsense is revealed for what it is, people unbuckle and never want anything to do with the lies of the church after that. Unfortunately, they mistakenly believe that the liars who told them it would be a joy ride are representing the Creator. They aren’t.

That term is used so frequently by people who want to live any way they please that it is getting quite repulsive. Let's pretend Katy Perry was a soldier in WW II. Later we see her on national television stating that she wanted to be in the war with the Allied Forces but she wasn't getting promoted quickly enough so she "sold her soul to Hitler". It would not be judgmental to conclude she was now committed to destroy the Allied Forces and it would in fact be stupid to assume that she had not committed to destroy Allied Forces and Jews in order to make that deal. Katy Perry went on national television and openly stated that she was originally wanting to be a Christian singer and that Amy Grant was her idol (the same Amy Grant that flashes the Baphomet symbol in her "Christian" concerts) but it was not working out as she had hoped so she sold her soul and is now successful in secular music. Personally, I don't feel the least bit judgmental to say that based on her own words and the continual satanic music and videos she puts out, Katy Perry is fulfilling her commitment she made when she sold her soul and that this commitment was to advance Satan’s kingdom.
Regarding the Lady Gaga comment, I stated on another posting on this site that I observed a look of remorse and of wondering whether she made the right decision on Katy's face when she confessed to selling her soul. I believe what you are seeing when she put down LG is that remaining fear of God from her Christian upbringing that will probably remain with her until she actually stands before God for her final judgment. It is most likely also a typical human response of the lost who are on their way to hell but comfort themselves by pointing at something else that is more wicked than them and hoping that God is judging on the curve. Since Lady Gaga is even worse than Katy Perry, maybe Katy will get a passing grade. NOT! Our only hope of a passing grade is to repent (that means stop sinning) and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
It's not about "stopping sinning". Good deeds will not get you into Heaven. It's about believing that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to this earth and died for us upon a cross, wiping away all of our sins for good, and then rose again from the grave upon the third day, overcoming physical death and fulfilling Scripture. Trusting this to be true is all that is required to spend eternity with our good Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!
Well its a bit more then that – if it was just believing then all would find the way – BUT the BIBLE clearly tells us that we must follow Gods law, and when we fall get up repent and keep going, for Jesus said "if you LOVE ME KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS" so its not just believing we have to bear our cross daily! and the GRACE of Jesus paying the price for us is the blessed hope to be redeemed. I think you guys are missing the overall point. It is not a personal affront to God or religion, it is purely for the aspect of controlling the mass public in order to sell an image and lifestyle that is profitable. In society, real power is equated to wealth and those that are able to market their product (i.e. the stars of pop culture) in such a way as to acquire great wealth are the ones that are most likely to exist on the inner circle and use that power. However, there is a realization that religion is the opposite of everything that our pop culture is trying sell, so they seem to be at odds with each other. You can also make the argument that one must destroy the other in order to survive. However, that is completely far from the truth, they actually need each other to exist. Without a constant conflict, without a contrast, whichever side would exist would appear to be the norm and become mundane. Nothing alluring is left, and at that point, all the supporters of whichever side was chosen would eventually move on in search of something new because their current existence feels empty due to the lack of stimulation. Hence the reason why everyday people are either finding salvation or damnation. So whether you are a Christian singer just wanting to spread the word of God or you are a random person with a good voice and lack being shy, you are still doing it for your own personal goals and those above will see this and twist it for there own gain. If you aren't at the top then you are just someone's stepping stone on their way there. So the question is do you want to move to the top, or do you want to just be aware that the old world is crumbling around you when the time comes?

My take on that video was that she reveals her knowledge that she made a fateful decision and that she understands what the outcome will be. I'm so tired of this whole "They need to come back to God and stop worshiping Satan" shit. Like yes, Hollywood is full of brain washing techniques but not because of 'Satan', you don't need stories from the bible to let you know what is good and what is bad. Satan is not the enemy here, it's those hollywood producers trying to corrupt everyone watching.
