Corey Feldman Will Reveal the Name of Two Hollywood Pedophiles That Abused Him

Corey Feldman caused quite a stir a few months ago when he revealed that pedophilia was rampant in Hollywood (see the article Actor Corey Feldman Says Pedophilia No. 1 Problem for Child Stars). He now plans to reveal the names of two Hollywood men who abused him while he was a minor in an upcoming tell-all book. Some critics said: “Why doesn’t he go to the police instead of attempting to make money off a book?”. Two answers immediately come to mind: First, I am not convinced that the LAPD will be too cooperative in investigating and arresting highly powerful, highly connected Hollywood handlers. Secondly, I am pretty sure that the statue of limitations has expired, making prosecution invalid today. Finally, these people (and this industry as a whole) need to be exposed to the public. As a teenage star Corey Feldman starred in some classic movies and became an eighties Hollywood icon.
But on film sets such as The Goonies, Stand By me and The Lost Boys he claims to have been sexually abused by paedophiles.
The Dancing On Ice star admits he was preyed on by many men and he plans to reveal the names of two Hollywood perverts in a tell all book.
The 40-year-old actor explained how at age 14 he was being leached upon and used by men like vultures.
He told The Sun: ‘It was basically me laying there pretending I was asleep and them going about their business.’
Corey, who has been clean of drugs for 20 years, will write a book to chronicle all the abuse that he and other actors endured as children.He decided it was time to open up about the seedy side of the industry after his Lost Boys co-star Corey Haim, 38, died and an agent was charged with child abuse.
Feldman said that Haim, who died from heart failure and pneumonia, was also sexually abused and the people who did it believe that they are above the law.
He feels Hollywood have used the pair as scapegoats and labelled them drug addicts and has-beens.
Corey said: ‘Even today people say about me, “Eighties heartthrob; hasn’t done anything since.” The truth is I haven’t stopped. Last year I did four films.’Corey and I were pegged as the scapegoats… People need to know the reason Corey and I were swept under the carpet like the beaten dogs that were sent to the pound so no one had to deal with us anymore.’
Feldman first spoke out about his troubled past last year and he believes that is the reason why an anonymous former child actor claimed he had been abused by talent agent Martin Weiss.
He said: ‘I stood up and said there is a bigger problem, that I’d lost Corey and that I didn’t want to see any more kids lost to these sick perverts.’Although Weiss, 47, did not abuse Corey, he is still helping the detective in charge of the case with investigations.
The actor is aware of the danger he is putting himself and his family in by naming those who molested him but after losing his good friend Haim he wants to protect his own son.

This is dumb on his part, simply because if these people are as high up and have as much pull as he is claiming they might just snuff out the truth before the book is even released. Does he think they’re just going to sit back and let him release this if they matter all that much?

To clarify, I wasn’t saying he’s dumb for coming forward, I’m saying he’s dumb for how he’s going about putting the information out. He could either A) said it outright or B) if he had to have it in his book for whatever reason at least kept quiet about it until the book was released, now all the people who had their way with him are going to do everything in their power to stop the book from being release and that includes killing him. Where as if he just comes clean with everything they have no power over him anymore because the cat is out of the bag and if they tried anything after that, everyone would be looking in their direction. So he’s stupid for allowing them time to plan a course of action.

Laying out as much evidence as possible in book format is more likely to produce an investigation than coming outright and saying it in an interview. Hollywood will have to find a

I totally agree with Ryan – he’s going about it all wrong by drumming up publicity for a book and not really mentioning his persecutors upfront. Don’t want to dampen the charade but I honestly I doubt the book will see the light of day.
Corey may be blackmailing his former handlers for dough thus going ‘public’ to show them he means business. Once they comply, he’ll shut up and get that movie deal or whatever. Everyone will be a winner and we (the audience) will be more confused than ever. Once a fame junkie, always a fame junkie.

I admire him doing this and I’m also scared for him. Maybe he did do the right thing with coming out and anouncing that he will write a book and reveal names. How many actors are killed off? If the response to what he is saying is big & people are waiting on him to write it then you can’t just kill him off. Who knows, maybe he has already written the bookand if they kill him it will still be exposed? Weren’t it for those people who are in control of the media….hmmm
I think he’s waiting for the book, cause that will provide alot more names and background, that can be investigated or coroborated.

I do believe Genie Francis and the guy who played Willis on different strokes are victims of molestation also. I am sure there are many others I dont know of. How very very sad.
It comes out in print, it’ll be in hard cover. It’s harder to burn ten thousand books than to snuff out a web site or two.
Besides, I wouldn’t be surprised if the two guys he’s outing are already on the outs in Hollywood and thus free targets.

His confession/ accusation will have zero impact. It will help purge him of his pain and sense of guilt, but there is nothing going to happen to vindicate his abuse. These people ARE above the law, whether it should be true or not, it is true.

wow i look at these kids today in movies and tv shows and wonder what happens to the behind close doors. This is probly why so many former child stars get hooked on drugs and drinking and get in trouble with the law. I wish him the best of luck in exposing these sick monsters.

I don’t think I can blame him for revealing his abusers, even after all this time. Theses people need to be brought to some kind of justice. Chances are they would have never been convicted if he had went to the police anyway. So this might be the best way to protect future child stars. I wonder if there parents knew about it all along but failed to do anything about it because of all of the money rolling in. I hope he talks about that or rather he told a parent at all. Hollywood parents are also a problem eg.Drew Barrymore, Brook Shields.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but, that show they had awhile back called The Two Coreys was to me very revealing. Me as a television and Hollywood programmed child through the 80′s remember these two Coreys quite well and grew up with them.
The aforementioned show displayed to me Haim was a wreck and brought up on several occasions the fact that Feldman introduced him to some shady predators in Hollyweird that gave a young impressionable Haim drugs and sexually molested him. It looked as though Haim was a sacrificial lamb and felt betrayed by Feldman.

GOOD FOR HIM. I have always been disgusted & frustrated with people who have information on child abuse & pedophilia, but have never come forward. Think of all the children who might be saved once people are more aware of the disgusting things that happen behind closed doors in the entertainment industry.
I feel terrible for him.
I hope he gets the chance to speak out on these horrors.
It’s heartbreaking to know child actors where and are being sexually abused, what parent would risk there childs wellbeing for the sake of fame and fortune. For years people have known about hollywoods biggest problem, and it takes a brave person to stand up and tell the world about his story, I hope those sick men are found, and as Rita Marles once said, “what seems like happiness on the outside it’s far from what it seems”, very true in this case.

As a victim of sexual abuse, I couldn’t help but feel compelled to respond to your comment. Yes, I understand how one might assume that he is out to make a quick buck by writing this story (I’m sure money is an incentive, as much as it is for anyone who decides to write a book), but I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt here because I know how difficult it is to come forward. I am not a public figure as he is, so I’m sure it is 10 times more difficult for him. I don’t think you understand the shame that comes along with sexual abuse. He probably lived in denial for years, until he finally reached a point to where he couldn’t keep it bottled up any longer. As far as disclosing the identities of these perpetrators – do you know how intimidating that is?? Especially with the power that i’m sure these “people” wield. He knows he is putting his life at risk by doing this, but he probably has now decided to take that risk in order to save other victims.

In California, the “statute” of limitations for rape and other sex offenses committed against children is ten years, starting from the time the victim turns 18. So, since Corey Feldman is over 28, the statute of limitations on criminal prosecution of his abusers had run.

I’m guessing he’s writing a book cause theirs ALWAYS people who question you even if you tell the truth. I think it’s appropriate if he is really writing a book. It’s not an easy thing to talk about and “writing stuff down” is very recommended by therapists. There is a difference between a criminal prosecution (where the government tries to punish someone for a crime) and a civil action (a private person suing someone for damages). The ten-year statute of limitations has run on the alleged crimes of sexual abuse against Feldman. But the limitations period has not run on a civil action. So it would be possible, in theory, for Feldman to sue his abusers.
I have talked to Corey Feldman about this. The guys that will be mention in his book are Joel Schumaker who loves to call himself a “sexual outlaw”, and Steven Spielberg who has too much power in Hollywood and loves his little boys on the side.

Regarding statute of limitation on molestation, if you do research, the court system very well could go by the laws at the time the molestation took place. (meaning 10 years as the limit).The issue where there is no longer having any limitations would start when that new law went into effect. Sad, but true. Otherwise, the court systems would be overloaded with past children sueing.

Some would say that spread it prematurely is a great folly and, some would say it’s just a strategy for him to make money and after be silent and quiet.

I think we’re focusing too much on the homosexual aspect of it. I think that homosexuality has nothing to do with this issue. It’s about pedophiles, not homosexuals.

This is absolutely a publicity stunt to sell books. I mean his accusations may or may not be true, but if he really wanted it to have the most effect he would get an interview somewhere on tv or just set up a video blog and spit it out. The internet found out about this story fast enough he doesn’t think a revelation like this would spread quickly? You do not spread word in print these days unless you want to get paid. If you want to spread word in 2012 you use the internet and a webcam. Its called a viral video.

I can honestly say that the only thing that either of them did that was any good was the Lost Boys and both of them were outacted as they usually were by the cast around them. I never though either one of them was that talented. Without Sutherland and Jason Patrick that movie would have sucked big time; just like all the following movies the two Corries were in.

This is vile. I believe Corey Feldman and the other actors , who say they were abused as children. Knowing this makes me uncomfortable watching films now, how do I know that a child abuser isn’t involved in the making of the film?? I suggest that we vote with our feet and our money, don’t got to the cinema to watch films and don’t buy them when they come out on dvd. It’s that simple. Corey is very brave to come forward, I hope he has the strength to see this confession through, and name names.
Since the day he was born practically, his talent-agent father pimped him out to Hollywood. By 1996 he’d already been “working” for nearly 20 years. Perhaps they thought he’d be set for life that way, but really he was nothing more than a product, exploited and abused by his handlers.
