Is partisan politics another mode of control? Do we have a real choice or do we need to make a new party?
Do you vote? Does voting matter?
If the whole system is corrupted, how do we bring about real democracy?
1. Both major U.S. political parties are two wings on the same damn bird. Voting for either one is a waste vote, especially in presidential elections.
2. I'm registered as an independent voter. These days, I look for Libertarian, Green, or independence candidates.
3. Yes, I still vote. At least on a local and state level, my vote is going to the candidate I voted for and NOT to a electoral college to vote for me.
4. Presidential elections are the main ones that are total screwjobs and has been the case since the assassination of U.S. presidential hopeful Robert K. Kennedy. 2000 & 2004 were the most obvious screwjobs and 2016 will be THE worst ever. Real democracy will never happen unless all Republicans & Democrats are physically thrown out of office! But of course, that will NEVER happen because Americans are still in "sheep mode", not to mention that no one is brave enough to start up another "American Revolution" for change.
