I believe he went into how trainers are mainly young kids leaving home, the violence in all the fighting (true, its not graphic violence, but the implications are there. Also how are Pokémon battles any different from dog fights? In the real world, it'd be animal cruelty and some of those attacks would cause serious injuries or even death. Plus locking them in a ball? But I could be interjecting my own opinions in the misguided belief that he said it. Its been a couple years since I saw it), etc etc. He pointed out the symbolism of some characters for those unaware. How the one character even has a hypnoswirl on its stomach. Stuff like that.
Basically he summarizes that Harry Potter and Pokemon are bad influences because it does make kids (and overgrown kids such as myself want to march off and be a trainer with our own lovable Pikachu or Togepi. Jigglypuff would help insomniacs. Who doesn't secretly yearn to go to Hogwarts? The closest I can be to having a wand at the ready is to clutch a little girls toy wand or wield the DVD remote. Whether we admit it or not, Ash Ketchum and the Boy Who Lived have had an enormous impact on our culture in ways we don't even notice. (This is probably why Kung Fu seems to be puritanical. Its not just paranoia and judgment. Even just by hearing songs we get them in our head. Especially songs you don't like if you're anything like me! This makes people want to sing. Next thing you know, you've got a devils chant in your head!)
