Brother Aspiring interesting thoughts this mystery babylon is biblical correct?
what i quoted is from Habakkk 2 and foretells the destruction of ancient babylon.
The Prophet here, began in chapter 1, by talking about the sins of his own people, in response God told him...he'd send babylon against them. So of course the prophet questioned the logic in this ie babylon was more evil than israel.
So all God is saying is, they'd be destroyed when their time is up...but still God used babylon as his own instrument (it's in the Quran too in Surah al Isra). There is a reason why it is i nthis surah of course because it's about the whole connection with Jerusalem.
the mystery babylon/whore of babylon prophecies were about the end times jewish version of ancient babylon. The transition is covered in Zechariah 5, where the stones/wood theme aswell as the topic of usury is covered. Here the 'wicked woman' refers to the whore of babylon. The curse that goes out in all the land...
“It shall enter the house of the thief
And the house of the one who swears falsely by My name.
It shall remain in the midst of his house
And consume it, with its timber and stones
Then he said to me, “This is
the curse that goes out over the face of the whole earth:
the thief and the one who swears falsely(ie to pay the debt), is the money lending system.
the stone and trees have a dual purpose in prophecy, they also deal with idolatory
“As the thief is ashamed when he is found out,
So is the house of Israel ashamed;
They and their kings and their princes, and their priests and their prophets,
27 Saying to a tree, ‘You are
And to a stone, ‘You gave birth to me.’
For they have turned their
back to Me, and not their
in this case, the jews have found their new God...money.
of course, Revelation goes on to tell us a lot more about the fall of the whore of babylon, but the missing link (for christians) is
(2) Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the jews and the Muslims would kill them until the jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the jews. (Book #041, Hadith #6985)
the side story to this one is that the coming of dajjal coincides with the fall of mystery babylon (as in, he is the hidden hand behind it). This is also foretold in the last part of Zechariah 11.
There's another hadith related to this
Sahih Muslim: Book 041, Number 6979:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Apostle (may peace he upon him) saying: You have heard about a city the one side of which is in the land and the other is in the sea (Constantinople). They said: Allall's Messenger, yes. Thererupon he said: The Last Hour would not cmoe unlesss seventy thousand persons from Bani lsra'il would attack it. When they would land there, they will neither fight with weapons nor would shower arrows but would only say:" There is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest," that one side of it would fall. Thaur (one of the narrators) said: I think that he said: The part by the side of the ocean. Then they would say for the second time:" There is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest" that the second side would also fall, and they would say:" There is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest," that the gates would be opened for them and they would enter therein and, they would be collecting spoils of war and distributing them amongst themselves that a noise would be heard and It would be said: Verily, Dajjal has come. And thus they would leave everything there and would turn to him.
I believe these 'bani israel' people are the kurds
Dajjal's role will be to destroy all 3 religions whilst he attempts to create a 1 world religion so he'd recreate a new israel. the war between zionist israel and the arabs is necessary.
