*WARNING: This shit might trigger or disturb you. Before watching this video please be aware that it is incredibly creepy and could be disturbing to many of you. It disturbed me a bit, but I'm tough and will get over it. Others do not have my fortitude. You have been warned.*
So, sort of a click bait-y title but I couldn't think of anything better. Here is the link to the video:
I don't think I can embed that on this site so you have to click it to watch it. The site seems credible and watching is worthwhile if interested in this mystery. The video is under a minute long.
So here is the link to the Reddit thread where I found out about this and the comments will do a lot of explaining.
And last link, back to Heavy.com, this is a page that you get if you click on the link for Kayla's name in the first article and it goes into her disappearance and the links with this video.
Okay, so now for my commentary:
I remember hearing about Kayla Berg in the news or something but never knew the details or anything, or cared that much, so it's not as if this case is close to me at all. However, when I saw this posted to /r/creepy I was intrigued and clicked the link. When the video began I thought, "Wow, this guy is either super creepy and maybe a little mentally disturbed, or he's a really bad actor." I couldn't really figure out what to make of the guy or what he was describing or (at first) how it would possibly be related to Kayla Berg, or even how this was all that creepy. By the end of the video I was left speechless, covered in chills, and... aghast is the best word I can think of. Flumoxed might be a good one as well. I couldn't tell what I had just watched, but something deep down was telling me it wasn't good and it wasn't a joke. Something about her screams and the weird delivery and speech pattern of the man, it just all felt too real.
Now, I hope that it comes out that this is some weird hoax or art project and no harm came to anyone, but it freaked me the fuck out and so I thought some of you would find it interesting. I went back and forth about which section to post this in but I think News & Current Events is the most applicable.
Sorry for any nightmares I've induced
