A couple of things I noticed that I am not sure VC mentioned.

-As he takes his mask off to reveal himself with a his hair cut at 1;19...he walks by a picture of him with Daft Punk. Their hands show masonic symbolism but the clincher is the falling star in the backdrop representing Lucifer.

- He walks by a picture of himself that is cut or spliced together which I assume points to the fracturing or being torn apart before being rebuilt.  Then he appears to pull something off of the hit record as if to say once fracture, this happens.

- The lamps on the bed seem to have the appearance of an eye which could be the all seeing eye.

I went back to the DVR to watch his MTV Music Awards appearance and it is interesting to notice that the ones standing and dancing  for his performance were Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift, Gigi Hadid and company, Kanye and Ms. Booty.  All supposed sell outs in the biggest of ways.  Then there was the symbolism and fact that every act featured is amongst again, supposed sell out artists.  Oh, and there was the Weeknd  dancing in fire which was telling too.

"Starboy" LYRICS
(feat. Daft Punk)

I'm tryna put you in the worst mood, ah
P1 cleaner than your church shoes, ah
Milli point 2 just to hurt you, ah
All red lamb just to tease you, ah
None of these toys on lease too, ah
Made your whole year in a week too, yah
Main bitch out of your league too, ah
Side bitch out of your league too, ah

House so empty need a centerpiece
Twenty racks a table cut from ebony
Cut that ivory into skinny pieces
Then she clean it with her face but

I love my baby
You talking money need a hearing aid
You talking bout me I don't see the shade
Switch up my style I take any lane
I switch up my cup I kill any pain

There is something in the lyrics here, but not sure what.  Could switching style and cup mean something with concern to a ritual.

(Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha)
Look what you've done!
(Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha)
I'm a mother fuckin' Starboy
(Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha)
Look what you've done!
(Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha)
I'm a mother fuckin' Starboy

Is look what you done referring to the elite and then stating that makes him a MF starboy...

Every day a nigga try to test me, ah
Every day a nigga try to end me, ah
Pull off in that roadster sv, ah
Pockets over weight gettin hefty, ah
Coming for the king that's a far cry I
I come alive in the fall time I

No competition I don't really listen
I'm in the blue mulsanne bumping New Edition

Hmmm...

House so empty need a centerpiece
Twenty racks a table cut from ebony
Cut that ivory into skinny pieces
Then she clean it with her face but
I love my baby
You talking money need a hearing aid
You talking bout me I don't see the shade
Switch up my style I take any lane
I switch up my cup I kill any pain

(Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha)
Look what you've done!
(Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha)
I'm a mother fuckin' Starboy
(Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha)
Look what you've done!
(Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha)
I'm a mother fuckin' Starboy

Let a nigga Brad Pitt legend of the fall
Took the year like a bandit
Bought momma a crib and a brand new wagon
Now she hit the grocery shop lookin lavish
Star trek roof in that wrath of khan
Girls get loose when they hear the song
Hundred on the dash get me close to God
We don't pray for love we just pray for cars

Yeah, he is not coming to Christianity in the vid saying the hundred on the dash gets him close to God.  And he just sang he prays for cars not love. The took the year like a bandit likely is reference to how well his album did.

House so empty need a centerpiece
Twenty racks a table cut from ebony
Cut that ivory into skinny pieces
Then she clean it with her face
But I love my baby
You talking money need a hearing aid
You talking bout me I don't see the shade
Switch up my style I take any lane
I switch up my cup I kill any pain

(Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha)
Look what you've done!
(Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha)
I'm a mother fuckin' Starboy
(Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha)
Look what you've done!
(Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha)
I'm a mother fuckin' Starboy

(Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha)
Look what you've done!
(Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha)
I'm a mother fuckin' Starboy
(Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha)

Glad VC finally did a report on this video. Found it a while back and was surprised VC hadn't touched it. Wasn't sure if they missed it, or were slow, or just not interested.

Anyway, like The Zone mentioned, the painting shown in the video is quite interesting. For one, that falling/shooting star, for another, that one Daft Punk guy looking like he's trying to pull off a Simon Bolivar - whom VC says is a strong Mason, and is doing a Masonic hand sign and feet position on a Masonic checkerboard floor in this particular portrait. (Full article on here)

İmage           İmage

And lastly, that black cat at their feet is the same cat seen later on in the video, riding in the car with the Weeknd. I guess he borrowed it from Daft Punk. It also appears to be a Black Panther, which automatically carries racial/political undertones.

I think the sheer enormity of The Weeknd going around his house smashing his musical accolades and memorabilia with a cross just can't be overlooked either. That's probably even more shocking than the fact he killed himself, because some could potentially argue that death is an artistic and interesting concept to deal with, and can represent inner struggles, or whatever. But taking an axe in the form of a blood-red cross to your awards and musical achievements is something I am certain that no musician in their right mind and in control of their own actions would ever want to do, or be seen doing. That's just not right.

The Weeknd, well
Seems wicked that
The weekend is

Ending, ain't it?
Feeling melancholic much?
About returning to

That same old
Job? Why not
Profess yourself

To The Formless
And Only God
And see yourself

Able to live
Without anything but
Him The EverMost Loving  Heart

There is no god besides The Formless and Only Unique and Indivisible God

miss me and that what misses me was never meant for me"
