Assalamu Alaykum Brother,
I did not see this coming... Perhaps because you don't post much. It seems you been lurking/reading in the background, mashallah
.. Once more, the Islamic community on these boards is truly humbled.
Bro, I want you to make baby steps and realize fully the extent of your decision. Don't rush yourself, go at your own pace and we are here to help and support you every step of the way, Inshallah.
Everything is relative. You revert to Islam? This world will shun you, will frown upon you, yet you GAIN the next one (the one that MATTERS).
Are you prepared for that?
First of all. You should realize that after reverting to Islam you will be tested by Allah as to how firm you are on your Path.
"Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: "We believe," and will not be tested?"
So might as well brace yourself
Keep in mind that Allah tests most severely the ones He loves most of His servants.
Muslims live for the sake of Allah (ALONE),The God, the Creator, the Merciful and Compassionate, the Giver and Taker of Life, the ONE and Only, He who did not beget nor was He begotten.... Unlike His Creation and beyond our imagination.. He who grasps all vision yet NO vision can grasp Him...
We seek to please the Creator and NOT the creation.
Our entire life is to be lived for His sake. We live for God and we die for God. Our only reason for existence is to worship He who gave us this marvelous gift called life, He who sustains us... A glass of cold water on a hot day is a blessing... every split second your sight returns to you is a blessing, every breath you take, the beauty of nature, the stars in the sky on a clear night, the love of a mother to her child, children, a comfy bed, a loving wife, nature in all its splendor, pets, friends, tasty food, fragrant smells, your kidneys working properly... every single blessing no matter how small or big it may be....
If we were to count the blessings of Allah... we would get to billion and we have not even scratched the surface... And we did not even mention Paradise yet!
This life is merely a stepping stone for the NEXT, eternal, sorrow free one.
The system has people convinced that this life is the real one and the next one is merely an illusion.
In Islam it is the complete opposite. Allah calls this life in the Quran "the enjoyment of delusion"... no matter how hard you try to reach out for it it will always elude you. One second we are here, the next we are gone... death is right at the door and we never know when it comes knocking. So a Muslim's ultimate objective is to please God and to work at attaining the greatest reward, Heaven.
This life is place meant for suffering. The believer will suffer here and will vie to the day he will meet his Lord and the non believer will LOVE it here and will hold on to it by his nails refusing to let go (die). The tables turn when physical bodies are extinguished.. Remember it is all relative.
Islam is a life CHANGING decision.... It is a way of life.. a state of mind. I'm sure you are aware of that by now considering all the anti Islamic rhetoric (which btw further emboldens my beliefs in Islam), how much this world despises Islam and how they are fighting it with every mean.
Islam is the last standing fortress of Monotheism, the last bastion of hope against the Dajjal System (Antichrist)
Truth is treason in the Empire of lies, brother.
And the grip on Muslims will only get tighter. Sayyidna Muhammad said: that a Believer holding on to his faith in the last days would be like someone holding on to a smoldering ember, he can't keep his grip on it...
Are you ready for that challenge? Inshallah (God willing) you will be
Now let's get started.
What made you consider Islam, first of all?
And here are some links to get acquainted with the general/basic info.
The baords here are great as well... some priceless knoweldge has been shared and I can point out the threads you should be reading.
Islam is a VAST field, yet simple and straightforward. We can provide you with an ocean of material, and you will be MIND BLOWN... as to why this has been hidden in plain sight from me... Why does this make so much sense and appeals to my soul and inner being..
Allah doesn't wanna burden you nor confuse you. Everything is logical and it appeals to your reason and common sense.
I'm here for any question you may have and remember no question is silly. The Islamic community here will support you in your journey should you decide to fully embrace Islam inshallah. You can also pm me at any time.
Peace be upon you and Allahu Akbar (God is the Greatest)
