Mashallah sis Khawlah that is a beautiful thread you just made.
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
‘I have prepared for My righteous servants what no eye has seen and no ear has heard, nor has it occurred to the human heart.’
Thus recite if you wish: “And no soul knows what joy for them (the inhabitants of Paradise) has been kept hidden (Qur’an Chapter 32 Verse 17).”
Paradise is a LITERAL/Physical place.
The reality of Paradise is something which people will never be able to understand until they actually enter it, but God has shown us glimpses of it in the Quran and Hadeeth.
He who created this Vast, Wondrous, Magnificent Universe... Can't He create some place more perfect?
He who created us from Dust out of NOTHING can't He raise us back again from the dead and mold us into a new Creation?
Certainly He CAN. "Be! and so it was"
Let me put it in such terms.
In Heaven, the believers will receive an upgrade to both our "software" and hardware"...
We won't need the loo, we won't sweat, we won't toil, we eat and drink merely for the pleasure of it, no illness shall overtake us, no cold nor heat, physical pain...
The salutation of the people of paradise will be Salam (peace upon you). Allah will remove every sense of injury or suffering we might have endured in this life. Jealousy, backbiting, vain talk, ill talk, lying, slander, deceit... will not exist there.
It is a place that is beyond our wildest imagination. Every moment you spend there you are "in the moment".. no burden or boredom shall overcome us.
Allah further promises to reunite the Believers who loved each other in this life.. families, spouses, children, friends....
Janna is levels brothers and sisters... If let's say a mother ends up in a level higher than her daughter.. Allah will not debase the mother to place her in the same level as her daughter, rather he will raise the daughter to dwell in the higher level with her mother. Thus is the MERCY of Allah.
And we are to dwell therein forever.
God is pleased with us, and WE are pleased with Him.
May Allah grant us all the highest rank in Janna... Ameen!
“The lies (Western slander) which well-meaning zeal has heaped round this man (Muhammad) are disgraceful to ourselves only.”
