None of them are evil? More so the method in which they are used constitutes the good or evil. Being a non believer from my POV isn't evil but a choice based in ignorance or logic or whatever someone chooses instead of belief in something.
Isaiah 55:8-9 KJV For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord . For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Why, because its ungrateful. Everything you have ever received and everything you will ever get till the day you enter the ground only reaches you by the will of the most high.
Disbelief leads to an evil place, an eternal one.

Who says science is an evil thing? For that matter who says religion should ever be illogical when it comes from an all knowing, all wise Creator? The Quran is constantly reminding man to think, reflect and ponder on his own existence.
The Quran mentions a multitude of things modern man has only recently realized.
Such as the expanding universe / big bang theory.
"And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander." [51:47]
It draws attention to fingertips, which we know today every man, woman and childs are unique.
"Does man (a disbeliever) think that We shall not assemble his bones? Yes, We are Able to put together in perfect order the tips of his fingers." [75:2-3]
It mentions how the moon is a reflecting source of light, not a producing one.
I can go on, earth being egg shaped, descriptions of embryology, ect. but I won't for times sake.
Whats miraculous is the Quran was revealed through an illiterate man in the desert 1400 years ago. He could not write his own name let alone have knowledge of these topics.
As i have pointed out, these are modern day science confirmations. Reaffirmed by religion, reaffirmed by Islam.
"Do they not ponder the Qur’an? Had it been from other than God, they would have found in it a great deal of discrepancy. [4:82]"
