Sophia, you post such deep questions... Tongue

I don't trust a lot of folk. Pretty much my immediate family and a few friends.

I'm a good judge of character so maybe that's what makes me trust someone.

And gut feeling.

There isn't really a how...I trust everyone unless you give me a reason not to. Do something stupid and I'll take it back prolly, but even then it's more of a three strikes sort of thing.

IDK that might not be very wise I realize lol, but that's  just how I roll.  Wink

something as simple as an heartfelt smile, can cause me to trust someone.

Only God knows.

Their behavior? It's not something I do very easily, but it's not that important in the grand scheme of things.

That's not entirely up to me, sometimes you know 100% you can trust a person you just met, and sometimes you know you can't trust your family, because you know them too well... Usually in everyday life honesty earns trust... But trust is like a water, it can froze or evaporate very fast...

Character and being a good judge of character plays an important role in deciding who to trust I would say.

I'm not one of those trust no one people. I'm more of the type who try to avoid needing your trust to begin with. When it come to trusting in general it's mostly over 5$ situations. So if you broke my trust in eating the last slice of pizza no biggie.

I'm not giving you that much power over me.  My goal is to be able to trust in myself, while being thankful to the small few I can trust like my mom, dad, husband, a few friends, and they aren't 100%.

It helps when we are realistic as to what trust is. No one is perfect. Trust in yourself. A lot of us can't. Therefor learn how to be the person you can trust in. Trust the next person to be human meaning flawed. You can't even base trust on things like family, friends, how long you have known a person. Character is the best judge.
