When you break a law wherever you might live there's a punishment isn't there? Let's say you murder someone, you can go to prison for a long time for that-at least in the US-right? So what would be different with God? He is a just and Holy God, wouldn't that make it imperative that even though He loves us there should be a punishment for wrong doing?
The loving part is that He gave us a way out of that lake of fire if we would only take it
Jesus died for our sins-He took our punishment and if anyone believe on Him they will be saved from that lake of fire!!
