I have no fear for the future; and we are already living in the times of trial.
The ''worst'' that can happen to me is that I meet my Lord early; which is the best that can happen to me at the same time :
God has promised us:
Of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, Or of the destruction that lays waste at noon. 7
A thousand may fall at your side ; And ten thousand at your right hand, But it shall not approach you. 8
You will only look on with your eyes ,And see the recompense of the wicked.…
91:1-8 He that by faith chooses God for his protector, shall find all in him that he needs or can desire. And those who have found the comfort of making the Lord their refuge, cannot but desire that others may do so. The spiritual life is protected by Divine grace from the temptations of Satan, which are as the snares of the fowler, and from the contagion of sin, which is a noisome pestilence. Great security is promised to believers in the midst of danger. Wisdom shall keep them from being afraid without cause, and faith shall keep them from being unduly afraid. Whatever is done, our heavenly Father's will is done; and we have no reason to fear. God's people shall see, not only God's promises fulfilled, but his threatenings. Then let sinners come unto the Lord upon his mercy-seat, through the Redeemer's name; and encourage others to trust in him also.''
The true believers have nothing to fear; when the time comes we will meet our Lord in the sky and we must look forward to that moment with joy
If there might come a day that it is a punishable offense to be a Christian; I will stand up for my faith. I have already looked death in the eye; I can do it again and God has promised us that we will not taste death nor fear it :
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, 26
and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?" 27
She said to Him, "Yes, Lord; I have believed that You are the Christ, the Son of God, even He who comes into the world."…
Until then I see it as a mercy from the Lord that I can see the signs of His coming; and am grateful to live in these exiting times
