Some, Em, but not all. I've been homeless myself and it most certainly wasn't by choice. However I did meet a couple people who were literally by choice. They just walked away from everything in disgust after seeing the world from a different perspective, but those types are generally adventurers backpacking and hitchhiking around the world. Never stay in place for long. There's others in my area who aren't quite homeless bug may as well be and they've been doing the same ol' routine for over 15 years. Like spirits on a death loop. Those ones I don't feel too sorry for.
Everyone has a story, Emerald. Not all homeless should be brushed aside like its their own fault. All it takes is having your wallet stolen while in another country, ya know? (Not why I was a street kid, but I know a guy where that was his situation. Had a couple hours to kill between flights, had pretty well just buried his parents, got drunk at the bar and his wallet "disappeared" when he got sloppy. He was having a helluva time trying to improve his situation when I was talking to him. No ID, no money, no passport, nothing.)
I'm far from PC, Emerald. A bit of a bleeding heart, maybe. But political correctness is one of the things destroying society IMO.
