"The U.S. media has failed to expose the civilian toll of recent wars by largely ignoring burn pits’ toxic effects on local people, a U.S. researcher argues in a new report, suggesting the burn pits are this generation’s Agent Orange."

Salam Emerald,

Ever since the last Israeli aggression here in Lebanon (2006) the cancer rates have skyrocketed.

The "only democracy in the Middle East" made sure to carpet bomb the country with depleted uranium... to kill and poison the next generations.. the same was done in Iraq by the Americans an hence why you see such a high birth defects/mutations' rates over there

Ofc you won't hear much about it in the Zionist owned main stream media..

I live in Lebanon btw

Sickening. Just think of the money and resources squandered only to destroy the planet and people's health and livelihood. This sort of human behavior will have to end at some point, and hopefully not with the end of humanity. It's unfortunate that religion has convinced many people that the end of the world is inevitable and happening soon so they'll just give up and accept it or even encourage it. Sad

Are you really this desperate to pin this one down on religion?

No, I mentioned it as an aside. It's truly a poisonous mindset to hold zero hope for the future of humanity on this planet, but that is not the topic at hand, so rather than derail the thread I will leave it at that.

ugh, so brainwashed with anti-religous cr*p that you turn stuff around like that?
seriously?
nobody gives a sh*t because they don't 1) Believe in God 2) Lost all morality as a result of 1 and don't give a flying f.
look at all your atheist marxist 'godless' leaders. they're the worst of the worst. oh the selective memory of the anti-religious camps. not even realising they're actually believing the religion of atheism,
which, in itself, is nothing but pure and basic pantheism, spiced up with the corrupted system of 'scientific proof'.

Oh ffs.

1) It's true. I've even seen comments from religious people saying not only do they believe it, but that they "can't wait" for the apocalypse, like they are giddy with anticipation or maybe would like to lend a hand in speeding up the process. It's disgusting. That is all I'm saying.

2) Let it go, or at least start a new topic. I guess a person can't even make a simple comment around here without religious people getting defensive over it. Go display your insecurity somewhere else, this is not the place.

War Crimes: Agent Orange, Monsanto, Dow Chemical and Other Ugly Legacies of the Vietnam War

http://www.globalresearch.ca/war-crimes-...ar/5488004

"Fifty years ago this next month (December 1965), with the urging of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the rubber stamp approval of President Lyndon Johnson and Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara, the United States Air Force started secretly spraying the forests of Laos with a deadly herbicide that was known as Agent Orange."
