Believe it or not guys, but my mum had a heavy Christian upbringing, she didn't want it forced on me like it was on her and I have been allowed to come to my own conclusions. I have read the bible and there is a lot of good stuff in there. My beliefs have changed a lot over the years and they will probably change some more as I am exposed to more information. You probably already know what religion makes the most sense to me, but I will not bring that up here and derail the thread.
Real religion is about acting out of love and kindness because it is the right thing to do. God knows what is in our hearts and He is aware of what we do (He is the Seer, the Knower, the Merciful, the Wise.. OK that comes from the Qur'an my bad). Ideally you believe in the one God who created everything, but that is up to the individual, you can't force someone to believe something. The truth is the truth, but we all see it from our own perspective. This is truth.
Matthew 22:34-40 King James Version (KJV)
34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.
35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
