Most everyone subscribes to or has access to Netflix. After chatting with another member and seeing recent comments, i thought a thread for suggested watching to be appropriate.

I recently finished Luke Cage and found it to be enjoyable. Netflix done a grand job with the Marvel Universe which includes Daredevil and Jessica Jones with concern to a series and not a stand alone movie. How was that for a run on sentence...

Also mentioned, Black Mirror is like the old Twilight Zone like take with a hip new twist. The series is modern in nature keeping up with the technology we have today or soon will. Even the episodes which I found undesirable via their description were good once I watched them. So far, the first episode was the one I liked the least, so give it time.

Netflix is not known for current movies, but they continue to get independent ones of late. Spotlight is excellent and Nightcrawler interesting.

I like their Hidden Gems selections and have watch a lot of good foreign stuff/I'm American. I like the french series, The Returned/Les Revenants. Also NSU German History X - is a three part mini series based on a true story. I liked being a fly on the wall in part one and seeing the National Socialist movement formed. Beate Zschäpe, the sole surviving founding member of the National Socialist Underground tells her tale, a spin on the Bosphorus Serial Murders. The second part is very well done, and shows the daughter and family of a Turkish man who becomes a key figure in exposing the pain and suffering of actions -- her father who was one of many Arabs killed is another key part of the tale. The third part is more on the investigation and failed attempts to solve the case. Each episode stands on it's on, but the sub tiles require and attention span, but is very though provoking.

Another board game to pass time.

Answer True or False to the previous question, then ask one of your own.

Tell us about a favorite scene from a movie and why you liked the scene. The only rule is one scene per post. Smile

I'll just start with a movie I viewed not to long ago;
I like the scene at the very end of Avengers where all the superheroes are at Schwarma's eating after the big battle to save the world in New York City. I read that it was Robert Downey Jr.'s idea to have this scene and that they actually all had to come back later to film it.

In the scene, Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Hulk, Thor decided to meet up at Schwarma's, the place Iron Man mentioned as they were all fighting the alien army earlier in the battle. There they look beat to heck and they are plugging away at their meal. They are the only ones in there and the staff of the deli is cleaning up in the background.I remember watching this in the theater and the scene just went on and on and it looked like the hulk was trying hard not to laugh through it. I also noticed in the dvd that they shortened the scene, probably a good idea, it's' still funny.

But I guess the moral of that scene is that superheroes get tired too...Lol!

Lots of information in this video. Amongst ther things he lets s know that theyve built tunnels underground across the world so they can go from London to New York in an hour, saving time, and about the highest hen at MI6, Albert Bonner, and loads more! (The queen is 7,000 years old and can change bodies when its time, keeping her memory and persona through it.)

However theyre both acting strangely in this video; Max seems very tired and explains it with him going into an altered state of mind to be able to talk about these highly sensitive things but the interviewer seems bothered by it.

Of course, they put a globalist spin on it.

“The new revelation that two of the world’s ancient super powers may have been in contact is a vital reminder today of the need for intercultural communication on a global scale.”

How thin and tall is the trunk
