Im a recent convert of born again christian. My whole family is catholic, I want to evangelize them, I want to help them to know the truth and felt the true meaning of being a christian. Yet because Im the youngest in our family, I dont have any guts to do so. And we do owned a sto nino in our house i dont know how to get rid of it and sometimes, Im having nightmares like the sto nino turns black and rotten and its face falls out. Im also having a lot of nightmares the day before of my baptism and sometimes sleep paralysis. but when i started to pray and rebuke them in the name of jesus, I woke up or sometimes the demons stopped and goes away. thank you

Keep on praying for protection from the demons, Jesus will not forsake you, this story is proof that the statues of the Catholics are pagan idolatry.

There was a forum post about sleep paralysis/night terrors and many people have experienced this phenomenon.

I have also experienced similar events in my life. And they are very frightening, but don't let the fear take you. The Lord has allowed these events for a purpose and if anything to draw you closer to Him. Stay vigilant, keep praying for the answers God has for you.

My Pastor spoke with me about my terrors, and his advice was simple.

"Is Jesus your Lord and Savior? Yes? Then they have no power over you, if they come to tempt you with fear again think of Jesus and stand up! He has given us victory so stand!"

There was a night soon afterwards where I stood up by the power of Jesus.

@reg912: I was raised being a catholic, going to mass every sunday. But my mom enrolled me to a christian school, I studied there for 4 years then when my mom died, my aunt took care of us and she transferred me to a catholic school because shes afraid that I might became a born again christian. So basically I became half catholic and half christian, I believed in rosary, and Mama mary interceding prayers to jesus, but I exclude believing in saints and idols. During college days a friend of mine invited me to join victory church, It was very lively, and more happier than attending catholic church but I wasnt able to continue attending at victory church because of the distance and my schedule as a student nurse. I returned in catholic church again.

After 1 year, A coworker of mine, a christian, introduced the story of eni emmanuel amos, It is a story about a ex satanist pastor who became a chrstian, It was very inspiring, After reading his story, I prayed and asked jesus to lead me to the right path, I repent, I cried. and I felt something cold, I could feel god's presence, I dont know why but its a weird feeling, I could feel peace and happiness that I never felt before. I admit that I dont have any patience reading bible before, but after that incidence I just cant stopped reading bible, trying to know jesus more.

One night, I had a dream, theres an old manm at first I think he's a good guy. But suddenly, I could feel something strange about him, He transformed into a demon, I said in jesus name stopped, the demon stopped,I told him in jesus name jump, then he jumped, then I told the demon in jesus name go to hell, I heard something inside of me telling its not yet the time. then the demon change into a big flaming demon, he tried to stepped on me, but suddenly i was protected inside a car, he tried to throw a big flame ball, but suddenly i was able to flew, I saw that the sun became red. I flew for a while going to different places the world is color red, it was scary, then I saw a television, I saw news casters talking about the new ruler/ god which is satan. after the show I saw myself inside our house. I saw the gate at the back of our house it has a small opening, at first i hesitated to go in, it was very small space, but something urge me to try, then I was shrunk was able to go out our house, I saw the world back to normal again.

Few days after that dream, I was invited by my friend to attend at their church, I decided to go, and until now Im really happy in their church, I could feel god's presence in their, it was just a small church compared to a catholic but I could feel peace, warm and jesus in their church.

Crazy dream pdvd.

When I first got saved a few members of my church told me to "watch out! the devil is going to come and tempt you". I wasn't sure exactly what that meant, but soon afterwards I started having some crazy dreams as well. But speaking with my Pastor, prayer and reading my bible helped me get through it.

The devil really has no reason to harrass non-believers because they are dead-in-sin. But once you receive Christ he can't drag you to hell, but he can try and make the remainder of your life as hard as possible.

So don't be afraid, Jesus is not the Prince of fear but of peace. He will give you everything you need to get through this. Just trust in Him.

You will have to pray for them most of all. My husbands father is not a believer and he just makes fun of us!! You can't say anything to change his mind. But http://www.2besaved.com has some tracts especially for Catholics. This might help you too.

I know exactly how you feel about the odd dreams, I could go on and on about the wierd paranormal experiences ive had while sleeping, but id rather not. Instead, I encourage you to read Psalms at night, and read it out loud. Also, I know it sounds dumb, but leave a light on, even a small one. Spirits dont like to be in the light, so it repels them. Just some tips, and pray before you go to sleep. THese have worked for me, I hope they will work for you. God bless.

I have alot of weird dreams scary dreams, but I also have dreams that happens in real life not exactly as it is but in different person and in different way. kinda hard to explain. playing christian songs help me alot to prevent nightmares.

wow. well thanks for telling me. Im sure Jesus will show you a way. Just keep your focus on him and things will work out. I came across this Idea since I been on this board, People are not normally converted due to logic or reason, there is a spiritual battle for peoples minds and to get people to be saved you have to do a spiritual battle to stop the satanic forces from blocking the truth of the gospel.

i can totally relate. my family is catholic. all of them. i had to literally move across the us so that i would not be influenced by the filipino superstitious culture. it takes a lot of strength to be able to let go of everything you've learned and start with a clean slate. i like to get my ducks in a row before i start preaching. so whatever God leads you to do, do it to the best of your knowledge and ability. God will provide the words. remember, YOUR REWARD WILL BE STORED UP IN HEAVEN.
