There are 2 kinds of Lady Gaga fans:
those who enjoy vacuous pop music and like her for face value (i.e: idiots, who really deserve to be led everywhere by the hand anyway) and those who are in on her joke and appreciate her wicked social satire/commentary.

The job of a good and successful performer is to make themselves seem like they are not entirely human. It is part of their mystique and appeal. As a theatre major myself, I have learned a great deal about how to cultivate a “sell-able image” as that is how you get people to hire you in the industry. That is all that she has done here and she has done it damn well. She initially crafted the Lady Gaga persona as a bit of a joke when she realized that she had an easier time getting people in the small clubs where she initially performed to take notice of her when she wore nothing but her lingerie.

Every type of advertisement, persuasive article, or any type of media is some form of mind control. Humans have very well-known and specific triggers in our subconsciouses which are easily exploited by all people everyday. Mind control is not a new or original concept that is used only by secret societies. Any person trying to convince another person to come around to a certain way of thinking is, in essence, using mind control. You’re using it, Vigilant Citizen, with your articles just as much as I am using it in this response.

The all-seeing eye of God, the lightening bolt, the black and white checkerboard pattern, and the triangle are widely used symbols common in all kinds of designs that usually have nothing to do with Freemasons or Satanism or the Illuminati. They can all be traced back much further than all of these organizations or belief systems. In fact, the Freemasons did not widely use the all-seeing eye within a triangle until 14 years AFTER it was used on US currency. ALSO, Benjamin Franklin was the only Mason involved in the design of our currency and his design idea was NOT USED.

Then again, maybe I’m wrong and maybe Lady Gaga is a puppet for an evil organization and we’re all doomed to live in a New World Order where we’re all implanted with chips, given forced vaccinations, and only Illuminati members are allowed to get famous. If that is the case, though, I suppose I need to look up these Illuminati people and start worshiping Satan if I ever want to have a successful acting career.

Please note that I am not making fun of you and I’m not saying that all of your points are invalid or that our government is not frequently doing a great deal of sketchy shit which will never appear on the evening news. What I am saying is that you’re discrediting your good arguments by being so hyperbolic and not fully researching or citing your sources. Our government IS corrupt, but in a far less dramatic way than you describe. It is a base and utterly human corruption that can simply be described as GREED. We are not being controlled or brainwashed in order to serve some demonic, higher purpose for that is almost more comforting and certainly more interesting than the truth, which is that we are merely being brainwashed to buy certain things from certain companies and to love certain brands. Nothing more, nothing less. It may sound less insidious on the surface than a Satanic plot for world domination, but it’s actually quite inherently evil in it’s own right. I recommend that you read Benjamin R. Barber’s book titled Consumed for a better worded explanation of the infantilization of American citizens.

Don’t be distracted from real, albeit dull corporate evil by baseless conspiracy theories.

Hey, the illuminati aren’t one big top-down conspiracy bent on controlling the minds of the population and turning humanity into slaves – that’s organised religion you’re talking about Being ‘illuminati’ means a measure of freedom from (or at least awareness of) societal mental restraints, and an experience of the gnostic concept of ‘the divine spark in all of us’ (it’s not necessarily supernatural, btw). Strange how you guys get things all upside-down and back-to-front, as usual… *rolls eyes*
